I’ve used many contractors over the years, but none have provided the level of communication and service that Dan’l at NW Native did. His crew is top-notch: from demo to design to masonry, they are artists. I cannot recommend this firm enough.

Our yard was covered in non-native plants that needed lots of maintenance until we worked with Dan'l and NW Native. They completely redid our landscaping and helped us through the whole process. Dan'l cares so much about his craft and his company's work, it gave us the confidence it would come out beautifully. They truly go above and beyond your average landscaper and I would recommend them to anyone needing maintenance or design.

Dan'l and his crew transformed a completely blank slate of space (front and back of house) into a stunning paradise. Dan'l took what I told him interested me (a variety of fruit bearing plants, color blooming in seasonal increments, a cobblestone style pathway surrounding the house, diversion of water away from the house, and zero maintenance for me), on schedule and on budget, and gave me my first true garden with more than I could imagine. I receive compliments from friends and strangers and proudly give Northwest Native Landscapes full credit. They also continue to maintain the garden and I can only say I am one of the lucky ones to have discovered this extremely gifted company.

Dan'l and team at Northwest Native Landscapes were great to work with. They were very professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way. They even fixed old issues with my previously poorly constructed back gate, while keeping nearly all of the old reclaimed wood. I highly recommend them!

We had a great experience with Northwest Native Landscapes! Even though our patio project was very small-scale, Dan'l Langer and his crew never made us feel like we were a smaller priority. The work was done quickly, professionally, and with absolutely no disruption (I work from home and didn't even have to deal with extra noise). We particularly appreciated all the time Dan'l took to consult with us at various stages of the design process to make sure that the finished project was what we wanted while also staying in our budget and remaining feasible given the space we were working with.

Very happy the rain gardens and ongoing maintenance in all my beds. Dan'l is so pleasant, knowledgeable, and flexible. He always has ideas, whenever I ask. The rain gardens are aesthetically pleasing, and these, combined with the drainage work he did has kept water out of my basement for years!! I couldn't be more pleased with this company!!

We are very happy with our deck, patio and rain garden. Dan'l was an excellent communicator throughout the design, build, and maintenance phases. This was essential because at the time we were "absentee owners." He was very knowledgeable about local plants and materials. His crew have always been a pleasure to have around. We are looking forward to our first spring and summer in Portland, so we can enjoy our new back yard!

Dan'l and his crew were a real pleasure to work with. They were professional, totally honest, and so good at what they do. They explained the cost of the project clearly, thoroughly answered all of our questions, and were prompt and timely with their work. I really appreciated their clear communication and the responsibility they took for their work. The design Dan'l came up with was so beautiful and creative and the work they did was beyond reproach. The transformation to our backyard was incredible; it is now our favorite part of our house! I would highly recommend NW Native Landscapes to anyone!
