Design professional with over 30 years of project experience. Malcolm Parry is a Chartered RIBA Architect based in Stirling offering architectural design and project management services. From home improvement advice, to house extensions, barn conversions, new builds, and commercial interiors, we have gained our reputation over the last twenty years to be an architect who offers impartial advice, delivering projects on time and within budget. After running his own business in France for ten years Malcolm returned with his family to live in Scotland at the end of 2011, and is enjoying the fresh challenge. He is now based in the Stirling area and available to provide full architectural services across the UK. ‘mparchitecture ltd' are an RIAS Chartered Practice offering architectural and project management services across Stirling and East Dunbartonshire. Homeowners and small businesses often require a more bespoke architectural service. Our collaborative approach to design will help clarify your ideas, creating that special place to live or work.

We worked with MP Architecture on a fantastic project in Bridge of Allan. This project included 5 room to fit out which meant having to work very closely with Malcolm. This was great as we could bounce ideas of each other and give the client exactly what they needed & wanted.

Malcolm did a great job for us. He listened to our vague outlines of what we wanted and translated them into drawings that we then changed our minds about many times. He provided clever solutions to the logistical problems that arose and was instrumental in providing the final layout. He made sure that we dealt with any building control issues and stuck to his estimates, which were supplied in advance. It was a pleasure dealing with him and we have no hesitation in recommending him.

Malcolm helped my wife and I with the extension and conversion of our property. His work involved creating two bedrooms from an existing bedroom, dressing area and en suite; converting (and extending) an existing lounge into a study and new lounge; and designing a patio area. We found Malcolm's input to be invaluable. He provided constructive and creative ideas and advice against the background of constraints imposed by coombe ceilings and poor existing foundations; took our comments on board well; explained technical difficulties in easy to understand language; liased well with the local council; and ultimately provided us with a design that met our needs. He communicated well with our appointed construction team. Overall, really satisfied with Malcolm, who I would recommend.

We hired Malcolm for a conversion of our existing footprint to move to one larger living space as opposed two smaller rooms including the removal and replacement of a very cold conservatory. Malcolm has been very engaging throughout the whole process and worked alongside us to help create the perfect space. His professional and attention to detail along with the careful management of tender process and build itself has enabled decisions to be be concluded much more quickly.

Malcolm has provided an excellent service. He designed our new 300+m2 house in such a way that it compliments its rural location and maximizes the light and providing many private views. Great use of space also. He was very attentive to our numerous requests which were all incorporated into the design. We would certainly recommend him

Malcolm provided design and consultancy services for a wraparound extention. I think I got some excellent advice and guidance through the the process. Most importantly things were done within the agreed timescales with excellent communications. I will definitely be using his services again.

we have added a new extension to our house to be used as a sun room. We started the work around May 16 and completed around December. During the work, there were some technical and admin challenges however, MParchitecture managed to address all challenges in a highly professional manner. Malcolm was very helpful, works well with the building company ( William Fulton building services ) and certainly very friendly. Great service, high quality and excellent finish. I will be very happy to recommend

We used Malcolm Parry for our house extension, including sunroom and alteration to kitchen / dining. Malcolm was very responsive, kept close attention during construction phase and monitored the quality of the work throughout. Many drafts of drawings and pictures were involved at the early stage and he was helpful with ideas and solutions. We are delighted with the end result. Cost overruns were largely due to our later specifications on heating and electrical etc. Our advice in future would be to pin the subcontractors down to more detail before work commences ( also means that we as clients need to make earlier decisions!) Malcolm was attentive and patient throughout. Would recommend him to anyone doing this type of contract. Malcolm's costs were clear and carried no variation from original engagement.

Malcolm has been a pleasure to work with, he is very professional and we have liked his designs, changes have been dealt with efficiently and effectively. Planning and building warrants were applied for, he dealt with engineers and made the process much easier for us.

Malcolm worked with us to design and then oversee a £200k project to extend, remodel and completely overhaul a 15 year old house. We added a sunroom (orangerie style), created a large dining kitchen, completely remodelled and extended the utility, remodelled the hallway from a pretty standard unimpressive space to a showpiece, replaced all radiators, electricals, new doors, new oak facings, etc. Malcolm was attentive throughout, easy to work with (we shared and critiqued each other's creative ideas), and inspired confidence in his management of trades contract.

Malcolm was professional, knowledgable, personable and great to work with at all times (even when the council were being rather troublesome). I wholeheartedly recommend MPA Ltd and have done on several occasions! Malcolm charges the market rate for his services and is clear in all communications. I can't recommend him highly enough.
