At Michelle Shakallis Interiors we ensure practicality and comfort, decorating a functional beautiful space with furniture, fabrics, accessories, and creating custom pieces tailor-made for your living space. We design to ensure that not only do they look great but they are inviting and liveable and will stand the test of time. Interior Design Services Styling your home Consultations are charged at £45 for the initial one and £30/hr thereafter Design Consultancy Consultations are charged at £45 for the initial one and £30/hr thereafter Full interior design service and delivery Initial consultation complimentary and £30/hr thereafter. All trade discounts will be passed onto the client.

Michelle really helped me not make some huge mistakes in my hallway ! She helped us to think about textures that would compliment , colour palettes that would work and a look which was really ‘us’. Really grateful I hadn’t bought any paint before having our consultation , because I really would’ve gone in the wrong direction . It was good to be able to look at specific details like door furniture and lighting . Michelle asks really good questions , which I think helps you nail what you’re trying to do with a space . Thank you , we’ll be back

We have recently moved into a house that is generally in good decorative order, but we want to refresh some of the rooms and add our own touch. We used Michelle’s design consultancy service, and paid the hourly rate, rather than the full design, because we wanted some advice on furniture layout, paint colours, plants, pictures etc. Michelle listened, quickly understood what we wanted and gave us lots of advice and guidance, telling us what works and what doesn’t. We were very pleased and would recommend Michelle’s services.

I booked Michelle to visit me at my property to help with the layout of my large open plan lounge and dining room. Michelle went above and beyond in helping me visualise the best layout for the room, even moving some furniture to assist with ideas for the space. I felt it really was worthwhile booking Michelle and will certainly recommend her to my friends and family. Michelle is very easy to talk to and friendly, and provided me with ideas, suggestions and advice for my project. Thank you

Michelle came for 2 hours to advise me on decorating my new house. I cannot believe how much we achieved in the time and we were blown away by the ideas- things we never would have come up with. We discussed colours/ furniture sourcing / lighting ideas / room layout / soft furnishings for several rooms. She also offered ideas at a range of price points, really listened to what we wanted (even mediating when me & my husband disagreed!), and offered practical and stylish suggestions. Looking forward to putting all the ideas into reality and would highly recommend Michelle to anyone.

Michelle spent an hour guiding us in brightening up a dark room. She listened carefully to our wishes and also understood our unspoken needs. She came up with highly creative solutions. She was a joy to watch as her creative talents took hold and the hour was filled with evolving, fresh ideas. She has left us with many ideas to follow up on, if we choose. Which we intend to do. Michelle was very friendly, approachable and efficient as well as highly talented and we would highly recommend her.

Michelle was a joy to work with, extremely professional with a wealth of knowledge, and easy to implement 3D plans. Michelle took the time to get to know me and my personal colours and likes and dislikes of style. Then she showed me some suggestions for each room. For most rooms they were spot on so we tweaked a few ideas, but a couple rooms were more problematic, the master bedroom and ensuite for example. So Michelle took the time out to visit various shops with me to select items that worked. Michelles knowledge and expertise shone throughout her work, her different price point options also assisted enormously. Once we had a plan she created a wonderful 3D mock up for each room with simple links to purchase the goods, for myself and the architect and the builder. I'm so grateful to have found her and worked with her, not just because she's simply fabulous as what she does, but also because she's great fun to be around and work with.

We enjoyed our experience with Michelle! This was the first time my husband and I had ever used an interior deisgner, and we were immediately drawn to Michelle's company. Michelle stood out to us, because of her willingness to put her client's preferences in the centre of her design, while also showing them that new things are possible. Michelle is a very thoughtful designer who ensured that we were given a design that was within our budget, and we really appreciated her efforts to weave some of our existing items into the design. We especially loved, that she brought both our tastes together, and designed a room, that had both our characters in it. We found working with Michelle super easy, and she listened carefully to us each step of the way. We highly recommend Michelle and would work with her again!

Having been overwhelmed with the enormous choice for bathroom fittings I arranged to spend a few hours with Michelle to run through my ideas and to get her advice on bringing it all together.
