At Mainsail Home Design, we offer home styling services through Home Staging for both residential and Vacation/Short-term rental homes, as well as a full spectrum of Design for homeowners who want to revive or beautify their spaces. Looking for online help with restyling your home? We also offer expert E-Design services, which guide you through your redesign with beautiful images and visual boards. We use our vision and fresh perspective to provide resourceful home staging and design, making homes more marketable to buyers & renters, and more pleasing to homeowners by maximizing their space and emphasizing their assets. We work with various sized homes and budgets, and know that you'll be impressed with the results of fewer days on the market and higher sale prices! Meg is a certified Home Stager and Redesigner by Home Staging Resource, and a proud member of the American Society of Home Stagers and Redesigners (ASHSR) and the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA). She also holds a Marketing Degree from the University of Delaware, and has knowledge about the housing industry from her experience in the mortgage field.

Since we purchased our home in 2021 I have had the opportunity to work with Meg on two projects. In addition to being knowledgeable about products and design what I most appreciate is her desire to work collaboratively with her client. She consistently took the necessary time to understand what I had in mind and was able incorporate those ideas into the overall design. In addition, she brought ideas for my consideration that were clearly outside of my thinking but aligned to my taste. A perfect combination of skills and talent.

Meg @ Mailsail Home Design staged the new construction home that I bought in July 2023. We loved every single room that she designed and bought all the furniture and decor. We even hired her to do the rooms that were not yet furnished and she absolutely blew us away. She listened to exactly what we wanted and made the entire process seamless. She is very talented and I would definitely hire her again in the future.

Meg worked on many different rooms in our vacation home (4 bedrooms, dining room, living room, family room), and was simply great. She was very respectful of our budget and goals (including purchasing furniture that would work for renters and for our dogs), and her designs were fabulous (far, far superior than anything I would have chosen on my own). She responded very quickly when I had any questions, and made great suggestions for tying the room together (e.g., ceiling fans, art work, etc.). Her prices were very reasonable - and I would (and will) definitely use her again.

We are really happy with how the room turned out. It is the top floor master bedroom of our beach house and she gave us designs and furniture suggestions and a schematic that was perfect. She helped with the purchases and now this is our favorite room in the house.

Meg is simply amazing! She is professional, courteous and has an incredible eye for design. Within minutes of being in our home, she made some incredible suggestions - using our existing furniture! - and two of our rooms looked instantly better. We purchased a couch and several rugs and we could not be more pleased with the quality, price and service. We hired Mainsail Designs after moving to our new home. After listening to what we were looking to do and getting a feel for what styles suited our taste, Meg provided a design direction using a mixture of new pieces, area rugs, and better placement of pieces we’ve had for years. All of the pieces arrived on time and are durable and very high quality, and well suited to the lifestyle of a busy family. We could not be happier with the results and we’re looking forward to working with Mainsail again!

Meg was amazing. The house turned out beautiful!!! She came in and finished the staging on time and had to work well after normal hours to make sure it was completed.

I have bought and sold more than a dozen houses without ever using the services of a home stager and therefore was unaware of the costs or benefits. My most recent project was the construction of a new home which after completion was marketed as a brand new empty house. After months of no offers the realtor suggested having the house staged. At that point I was willing to try so after contacting three home staging companies, I met with Meg Glines of Mainsail Home Design, LLC. Meg's proposal was very professional and the lowest cost of the three staging companies. I had Mainsail stage the house and was very impressed with the new look the house took on. I am now convinced, especially having sold the house, that staging with Mainsail brings more value than cost and I will not attempt to sell a house again without staging and especially using Mainsail to do the staging.

Life can turn quickly in unexpected directions, and I suddenly found myself with a sparsely furnished house with bare all white walls that needed to be dressed up to sell. From my initial conversation with Meg Glines at Mainsail Home Design, to her staging the house, was less than a week. I was not there while she was working, and when I walked in that night I was stunned. It was a completely different house! Lamps, artwork and pillows providing pops of color, and some well thought out furnishings and accessories made the house look warm and welcoming, for exactly the cost we had agreed upon. I would absolutely recommend Mainsail Home Design to anyone who needed professional home design work.

Meg did a beautiful job staging my home, creating the perfect feel for a home on Long Beach Island. Meg is very responsive, returning messages promptly. When the house was de-staged everything was left in better condition than it was before staging. I highly recommend Meg and Mainsail Home Design.

Mainsail has such beautiful, classic style. I have seen firsthand some of the transformations and it is truly amazing! Additionally, Meg is extremely personable and a joy to work with. If you're not using Mainsail to stage or redesign your home, you should reconsider!
