My wife and I have worked with Meghan for two years as we furnish our Ruxton home. Meghan is a joy to work with. She spent time getting to know us, our tastes, and our preferences, and has helped us transform our living spaces into a true reflection of who we are. When we downsized to a 2br condominium with its original kitchen, baths and finishes we knew we needed help to create the new space we wanted. On our first visit with Meghan Friedman of Redhead Design (she's the redhead) we felt we had found the right person for our project design. As we disussed our ideas with Meghan we realized that she offered the right combination of a good listener and also someone who brought fresh ideas to the table. As the design phase advanced we visited venders and suppliers who were professional and always helpful. We always started with a range of options and worked together to reach the best choice for the overall project. When the work began Meghan was always available to work with the tradesmen to solve problems and offer advice. Our new home is just right and our family, friends and new neighbors agree.

Planning an update to our powder room and upstairs hall bathroom proved to be more overwhelming than anticipated. Thanks to the suggestion of our contractor, Meghan of redhead design was consulted to analyze and create floor plans and assist with the selection of cabinets, counters, tile, lighting and hardware. Taking out a wall and moving the location of the tub created the space to add a walk in shower! We love the results!

It is a pleasure to work with Meghan; she is organized and creative and works with my tastes and budget rather than trying to push her own agenda.

Meghan was wonderful to work with. I had a very tight time frame to work in and she made a real effort to complete it on time... which she did. I had a powder room remodeled, a storage closet built, and a wall feature with floating shelves and cabinets in a family room. The contractor she suggested was wonderful who paid great attention to detail. Was very happy with the results of the projects and would recommend Meghan without reservation.

Where to start? Meghan was so easy to work with ... her eye in introducing colors and furnishings led the way to us opening our eyes to change. She also listened to our objectives and wanted to know our lifestyle. We initially felt "scattered" and did not know exactly what direction we were attempting to take...Meghan cleared the air for us. She was so open to some ideas we may have had, which in a design expert is so important. We are still fine tuning with accessories ... so our contact with Meghan is on-going.

It is our pleasure to highly recommend Meghan Friedman at redhead design,llc. Having worked with her in the past, we could not wait for her to “tackle’ our family room. And tackle she did!!! She presented multiple designs to us, using a stoned fireplace wall as the focal point with beams in the ceiling. The room was totally transformed into a warm, comfortable, and cozy space, whereas before it was so cold and uninviting. Meghan guided us throughout the process, offering suggestions, but always keeping in mind our budget and our style. She worked well with the contractor we chose. She secured the mason and made the process so much easier in selecting the stone, even lugging the samples to our home so that they could be seen in the proper light. She helped pick out furniture, cognizant of the importance of comfort to us due to back issues. Meghan has an amazing eye for style and color. She gave us multiple choices of fabrics and the one we selected for the throw pillows was also used for ottomans. The fabric just ties the whole room together! It is exquisite!! She used most of the accessories we had, including a favorite piece of artwork which had sentimental value. Meghan picked out additional, beautiful ones that complemented the room. Instead of just hanging pictures, she created a stunning wall gallery that honors our parents who have passed away and tying these photos, beautifully, with current pictures of our children. Our family room is now the favorite room in our house! We have received numerous complements and everyone is amazed by the transformation. Meghan made our vision become a reality!! She is indeed the very, very best, and we cannot wait to work with her again!!

My husband and I LOVED working with Meghan! We recently did a large renovation which included our Master bedroom, closets, make up room and large Spa/bathroom. Meghan turned this renovation into our Dream come true. Her availability to work with contractors making sure every detail was done correctly was very helpful. We had opened our entire first floor to enable us to have an open concept living, dinning and kitchen area, so we presented Meghan with a large challenge. Define the open area to have distinctive functions, but yet have an easy flow, be casual, inviting, and easy maintenance, and the outcome was exceptional. Meghan takes the time to get to know you, your thought, ideas, and what and how you want to achieve them. I have photographed Meghan's interiors for several years and have seen a wide range of her designs. Each project she does is unique and her designs are well-executed. I have been so impressed with Meghan's work that my husband and I hired Meghan for design work in our own home. We hired Meghan to help us finish our living room and dining room and also had her design custom built-ins for our sunroom and great room. We couldn't be happier with Meghan's work! We have worked with other designers in the past, but Meghan is hands down the best. She took the time to learn about our style and needs. She helped us design beautiful rooms within our budget, incorporating existing pieces with pieces that we already own. We have three young children, and it was important for our spaces to look great while being livable. Meghan helped us to achieve that balance. Meghan has an amazing eye for style, color and really helped us when we moved into our new house. She not only helped us decorate rooms in the house (which I get compliments on ALL of the time) but helped us customize a new basement bar which turned out exactly how we wanted it to look. She found the contractor and he was great as well.
