The localities which we service is generally the inner areas of Newcastle, particularly around Merewether, Bar Beach, and Hamilton. Debra was able to provide innovative ideas for the re-design of our office and amenities areas which she drew up plans for and we have been able to construct. This has enhanced our ability to have more functional office space and secure areas.

We engaged Debra for our last 2 renovations with great results. We had a broad brush idea of what we wanted and Debra came up with a smart design. She was always accessible and good humoured. She had savvy cost saving ideas and made us feel confident with our decision making. Her fee structure was easy to understand and good value. Highly recommended.

We chose Debra McKendry hunt to design our home in 2014. Her professionalism and approachability made the whole process a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Debra’s clever design exceeded our expectations in terms of use of space, light, airflow and use of different materials and finishes for both exterior and interior . Her creativity and aesthetics are second to none. Extremely happy with the end product and the entire process ... thank you Debra !!!

It took us several years to find the right architect - Debra was recommended to us by two different people - by a builder who had worked with her and by a friend who was Debra's client. Debra was able to design something that was a great home for the family and took advantage of the house's position and view - and she kept within our budget! She is great at the technical and creative aspects of her profession, but the upsell with Debra is her relationship and communication skills. Our job ran smoothly - not only because of the quality of the workmanship of our builder who she helped us choose - but also because Debra's communication style was considered, open and consultative - she acted as the perfect go-between for us all and issues were resolved quickly and easily. We've had many friends whose building projects have turned into nightmares - but ours was very hassle-free and much of the thanks for that goes to Deb!
