Alan Mascord Design Associates, Inc. provide construction drawings for home designs that are both beautiful and practical. By balancing architectural perfection with the needs of the inhabitants, AMDA successfully identify trends in American home styles and translate them into designs that are beautiful, efficient and easy to build. Mascord’s designs have gained national attention gracing the covers of magazines such as Builder, Better Homes & Gardens® and House Beautiful. We apologize in advance for not being able to answer all questions on paint colors, finishes, furnishings and material sources. Ted & Yin

After having disappointing results with two other architects, we heard from friends about how happy they were with the design services of Eric Schnell at Mascord Design. With the first meeting we were impressed with Eric's ability to draw upon our general ideas and start to formulate a concrete plan. After several iterations, Eric drew up a final plan that was even better than our expectations. The house that we are now building will be a joy to live in, thanks largely to the great architect who we were lucky enough to find.

I was lucky to work with Eric at Mascord. Eric is not only talented, but has excellent listening skills. He was genuinely invested in making sure I got what I needed and wanted.

We are in the process of building Alan's plan and loving it!! He is great to work with also. I found the house plan years ago on Pinterest and saved it until the time was right to build. Called him ask lots of questions and he had all the right answers, and his staff is the best!

Although we choose a stock home plan we required some modifications to accomodate current and future handicap needs for my husband. Alan Mascord worked with us on all the details coming up with some great ideas of his own as well as embracing some of our ideas. The final drawings of our new home (to be build in 2014) fit all of our needs. We are very pleased with the drawings and found working with Alan much easier than we had thought it would be. He is an excellent architect with a very good team of designers who got the drawings completed in a very timely manner. We can hardly wait to see our new home built.

We worked with Eric at Mascord on a few projects and he was exceptional to work with! He understood our vision and he made our ideas come to life! We were so pleased with the floor plans and the details that Eric incorporated into our designs. We worked with Eric Schnell at Mascord to design our new home. We had specific ideas about what we wanted and were unable to find a "stock" plan that had it all. He worked with us to design an amazing new home. He was patient and listened to us as we described our new home. He gave great suggestions and was honest when our ideas weren't within the scope of our project. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for an architect to design a new home or remodel your existing one.
