Chris helped us remodel our kitchen and one bathroom. Her knowledge and good taste were invaluable in enabling us to improve the functioning and look of both rooms. She was ready with ideas and suggestions, but always listened to our needs and preferences. She made the entire process efficient and relatively painless by identifying quality suppliers and helping us to quickly cut through the many options for materials, fixtures, etc. She also introduced us to a fantastic contractor (Abner Barrios), who was skilled, dependable, and responsible.

Chris has completed two home redecorating projects for our family. One home in Half Moon Bay and one in Cupertino. Each home project has come out beautiful. Chris has an excellent eye for color and quality, and has an amazing ability to coordinate various designs. In addition, she has a wonderful crew of talented professionals that she brings with her. I would highly recommend Chris and the LuLu Design Group.

Chris is amazing! My house looks fantastic and exactly like what I imagined. It’s like she could read my mind! And let’s not forget about her amazing ability to always get the best deals on everything. I don’t know how she does it but it’s incredible. I only knew that I wanted neutral colors accented by indigo and lots of texture. I had one painting to base everything off of and Chris took one look at the painting and knew just what I wanted. She even fixed some of the weird things the house came with like the rounded corners on the entrances to each room. And she drove 2 hours away to get me a beautiful custom barn door to replace the old pocket door from the 1/2 bath. You have to see it to believe it. Chris doesn’t do anything small— she will go above and beyond to get the job done. Thank you Chris!

Though she is not yet complete, I can see how profoundly Chris has changed my home to meet with my needs. I moved into my new *first* home in January 2016 and it was completely bare. I can't believe how Chris has transformed it in the past 9 months. I am looking forward to continuing to work with her to complete the remaining small items

Chris has a unique ability to work our things and ideas into an elevate look and more functional space. She has a keen eye for just the right edge or pop of color bringing an element of surprise. With extensive resources she moves each project along quickly. Her energy and enthusiasm make working with her so much fun!

Chris has been helping us on an ongoing basis since 2012, when we did a big, whole-home remodeling, including 4.5 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and several extra rooms. We hired her at first to help us with tile, marble, stain, and interior/exterior paint selection. She was a godsend! I'm not sure we could have cut through the tyranny of choice without her. Chris was able to work with a handful of "idea" clippings, our budget, and a list of "dislikes, and design us a look that suits us to a T....3 years in, and we wouldn't change a thing! After that came lighting fixtures.... Now she's helping us with drapery for the dining room, and furniture for the living room, plus little things along the way--the perfect rug for the dining room, just the right new fabric for the bench at the foot of our bed, the right lampshade for a favorite lamp, the BEST armchair for the family room. We're so happy to have found Chris, and recommend her completely.

It has been a total joy working with Chris on a major kitchen/bathroom remodel and full house interior redesign! She is extremely fun to work with! Even when we couldn’t put a finger on our design goals, she consistently listened to our particular needs and likes, and helped us establish our own style. She made every design decision easy. She has a keen eye for detail (color, texture, function, size) using multiple and diverse resources (both online and local). She shared her extensive network of vendor and professional relationships, getting terrific deals, without ever compromising on quality or style. Due to Chris’s attentiveness to our needs, her eye for just the right elements, and her sense of balance, we are absolutely delighted with our “new” home!

We chose to redo all but one room in our house. Chris, of Lulu Design Group, did an incredible job picking the paint for the rooms and helping us match furniture, light fixtures, and accents to bring out the color as well as create mood. She suggests things, tries them out, and takes them back if they don't work. She has a good concept of space and advises towards furniture and art that supports its size and overall effect. As a plus, she has contractors such as painters and electricians who are reasonable, careful, and talented and seem to make a special effort to fit her projects into their other work. We, of course, had lots of opinions on everything. Chris worked with us, sometimes challenging us to "imagine" differently, but listening carefully to what we were thinking as well. The house looks great with her views having connected with our views. It is a dramatic difference.

Chris is very hands on and high energy. I needed a designer's eye to reposition furniture and pictures and Chris was very involved in actually helping me move items. She has a great eye for detail and it was fun and productive working with her.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lulu Design Group! We are a start up that recently acquired office space and needed to open up the new office fast and by fast I mean within two weeks. After contacting other designers who were unsure about whether they'd be up to the task, I was lucky enough to meet Lulu Design Group. Chris assured me that she'd be able to get the job done in 2 weeks. I cannot rave about how smooth the entire design process has been. Chris not only has impeccable taste and aesthetic, but she also was able to work within our budget. She has an incredible eye and her contacts in the area were second to none - a task considered impossible becomes possible when working with Chris. She is a lot of fun to work with and is one of the most hard working people I have ever met. Our staff has recently moved in and loves the space. I highly recommend hiring Lulu Design Group! You will be glad you did!

All Natural Stone

I have been fortunate to help Chris on many projects and have learned a lot about design and people from her. As her slab-tile supplier, I've seen her put together beautiful homes and clients' dreams. She is an excellent project manager and is extremely good at meeting her clients' budget. I highly recommend to work with her on any size project.

Candace Deleo

Chris has provided support and assistance with the"rediscovery" of my formal living room. She has been respectful of my budget and has found ways to incorporate and renew some of my existing furniture pieces. We have hit a few hurdles, but Chris is very professional and has handled every snag quickly, efficiently (and pleasantly) with even better results. She has spent a great deal of time making choices that reflect the best possible outcome - from paint and upholstery fabrics, to floor and window coverings. I know I will be proud of the final result and am very satisfied with Chris as my designer.
