Stephens Remodeling

We had a large remodel done with this contractor, they do not know how to do sheetrock work. They put up sheetrock with no nailers sometimes for the edges/seams, those seams then are taped and then after a few months, cracks appear. They will redo it, but they issue is they don't nail the edges of the sheetrock. Furthermore, this contractor while a wonderful person, can turn on a dime. He even showed up one day with a gun to our home remodel just "showing it off" but that was after a few arguments days earlier about some bad work they had done.

We had a sunroom and a screened in porch put onto our home. They did an excellent job, went beyond our expectations, they do custom work. We love our addition! All the employees were very respectful and professional. We highly recommend them for your new project.

I bought a townhouse which had walls blocking my otherwise wonderful view of a pond and golf course . Lloyd help transform a small,unsightly porch and some a boxy sitting room and dining room into a great room ,located off my kitchen. This involved raising the outside porch, dealing with the condo association and revising the new porch floor to seamlessly match the existing wood floor. One of the walls we needed to remove was load bearing and we had to get additional foundation support poured in the crawl space. Windows needed to be changed. The final product was fantastic.;The view is experienced from 270 degrees and it feels like i am in a vacation resort. His crews came on time and did what they were supposed to. The new space is wonderful for entertaining and enjoying our extended family. I am finally this year going to revamp the kitchen. I spoke to Lloyd and to other contractors as well.....but I am about to hire Lloyd Stephens again as I know my kitchen will be done right. Also, I often dealt with his wife on the phone who runs his office and she is charming and helpful. I recommend them without reservation.

He worked with us to design and build a two story addition, with bath and walk-in attic. The project had many challenges, all met with good humor and professional solutions.

Lloyd Stephens built an elaborate porch/deck/patio for us. His work was first rate and his crew was uniformly competent and polite. His price was full but fair. However, our high rating of Lloyd Stephens is based on his integrity. After Lloyd had received the last payment from us, he returned twice at no additional charge to fix quality issues with our porch doors. Scheduling these repairs took longer than desirable but HE DID RESPOND to our calls and HE MADE IT RIGHT. We would hire him again.

Stephens Remodeling did an outstanding job remodeling our out-dated master bath. We received 4 bids and selected Stephens because they actually listened to our ideas and implemented the design we wanted. The project was done on time and within the budget we all agreed upon. Lloyd Stephens is easy to work with and i would gladly rehire his company in the future.

We were very satisfied with our bathroom remodeling project. The project was completed within the time window we specified. We were particularly pleased with how accommodating Lloyd was. We were able to include all of our spontaneous requests with absolutely no difficulties. The only negative was the 2k surprise on our final bill because of the vanity we chose. It would have been best to let us know in advance. We will have the company back for future projects.

Lloyd and his team provide me a detached 16x24 foot garage. He came highly recommended by a friend and I found his recommendation to be quite helpful. Lloyd was very envolved with my planning and design needs. His crew were always very professional and highly skilled with their craftsmanship. In addition to all the above his pricing was externally competitive (in total I received over eight quotes from diffrent builders).
