We recently worked with Phil from the Home Design Company through Melanson Homes and Renovation. He worked with us to design a new ensuite bathroom and a rework/partial renovation of the kitchen. His ideas allowed us to expand our expectations and think ‘outside the box’. His calm demeanor and accommodating manner was evident through the process - even through last minute changes to the size of the fridge! Thanks Phil.

We are extremely pleased to be in our new home build by Melanson Homes. Right on budget and right on schedule, I was impressed by the quality of work and the attention to detail by Jeff and Brad. Any questions we had as the project progressed were quickly answered and very helpful. The high standard of construction certainly allows Melanson Homes to distinguished themselves from other builders we have used to build previous homes.

Melanson coordinated the renovation of our entire main floor, including removing two walls, vaulting the ceiling, hardwood floors throughout, new kitchen cabinetry, lighting etc. We are delighted with the result. The work was done within the two-month timeline we had been promised, and we are very happy with the quality of the work, the coordination among many suppliers, and the attention to detail that sets this company apart from other renovators. They were very easy to deal with, and always responsive to our needs.

Company was very professional and constantly available to keep us updated and answer any questions we may have. They were excellent at meeting our deadline and offered great space saving solutions to our problems.

Jeff has been awesome to deal with! After a parade of "contractors" that made Mike Tyson look professional and level headed, we gave it one last chance and met with Jeff after seeing his ad on Facebook. When I found out he used to work as a Site Supervisor at a larger builder here in Calgary, I could instantly tell that he understood how hiring a contractor is just as much about customer service as it is the work. Jeff was helpful, and genuine. Most surprisingly, he gave me a quote and while I expected it to be 15% higher than the quote, he stuck to every dime! I didn't have to wait weeks for a quote, and I didn't have to wait weeks for the work. Surprisingly enough, through his contacts his HVAC guy ended up being the same guy that worked on my home when it was being built. They pulled of a miracle from a previous mess up and fixed the existing work that was already done!
