Interior Designer, Lynn B. Garelick, ASID, is President and Owner of LBG Interior Design, LLC. An accomplished residential interior designer for the past 38 years, she has created a diverse collection of interiors that reflect her clients’ personalities and tastes. These interiors span a broad array of periods, localities and environments, from American and European traditional to Far Eastern and South Pacific, country and contemporary. Lynn has completed several renovations and/or additions of homes, condominiums and apartments in Fairfield and Westchester Counties, as well as the city of New York. She has also designed and completed major residential projects in Massachusetts, upper New York State, and Virginia. Currently, Lynn continues to work with clients that she started with 30 years ago; in fact, she now works with the children of many of these clients! One of her current projects is the complete renovation of a lovely apartment in New York near Union Square. Lynn enjoys spending time with her family. Bruce, her oldest son and his family live in Cohasset, Massachusetts (grandchildren are wonderful!). Jeff, her younger son, lives in San Francisco; a great reason to travel west occasionally!

I worked with Lynn Garelick owner of LBG Interior Design LLC - President of the Home Owners Association, Field Point Estate Townhouses, Inc. Lynn was the supervisor for a renovation project for multiple townhouse units. To some a daunting task but for Lynn just another day at the office. Lynn is a consummate professional, detail oriented and comes w/ a wealth of experience and knowledge in the construction arena. The project went very smoothly thanks to Lynn’s expertise and pre-planning. I look forward to working with Lynn in the near future and highly recommend Lynn services.

Lynn is not only a phenomenal interior designer, she is a genuine, kind person and a pleasure to work with. We have worked on multiple projects together, helping her and her client choose beautiful, quality rugs for their homes. On job site Lynn is sharp, organized and efficient, making our installation work fun, easy and enjoyable! One client we worked with recently wanted to contemporize her space. In the limited time I spent at the job site I had the opportunity to observe Lynn work with the client and I was very impressed. Lynn is a listener, and because of that her responses are always helpful and informative. She understands design and she understands beauty. I can't recommend her more.

We have worked with Lynn Garelick of LBG Design on a number of projects over the last 20 years: a country house renovation after a flood, a redecoration of 2 Manhattan apartments and a recent big renovation combining 2 Manhattan apartments. She has made all the difference in our lives! After the initial planning meetings and detailed financial estimates, she follows through on every detail, large and small. She consults with us at ever step so there are no surprises yet she takes over and spares us the time and "angst" that these big projects entail. She works collaboratively and enthusiastically with the other professionals, eg, the architect and contractor. She is a wonderful designer with detailed room plans, drawings etc for the project. She has a perfect eye and we have always been so happy with her choices. I can not imagine tackling any upcoming project without her help. We recommend her with great appreciation and enthusiasm.

I have known Lynn Garelick for many years and I am very familiar with her work which is nothing but stellar. She assisted with several projects: two houses I owned in Westport, CT. and a major project for my daughter in New York City. All resulted in considerable monetary gain at the time of sale due to Lynn's knowledge of the business as well as coordinating all vendors involved to complete the task in the time frame requested at time of origination.

Lynn redid my master bedroom, from soup to nuts: fabrics, window treatments, painting, carpeting, headboard. Concurrently she arranged for storage of my living room and dining room furniture while the floors were refinished. She also arranged for expert restoration of several antiques. All of her craftsmen were trustworthy and did their jobs in a timely manner. I look forward to working with Lynn again.

I have hired Lynn for several different projects. She has designed a new master bathroom, a complete renovation of a NYC apartment, and several decorating projects. There is no end to what Lynn can do. She is a talented designer. Kitchen design, tile design, bath design, cabinet design, she can do it all. And she is so organize that I never worry about a detail because she has it covered. When Lynn takes on a project, you are in the best hands. She only hires the people she knows who can complete the job to her high standards. They are professionals. And the finished project is always beautiful! We have been working together for some time now and she is the first person I go to when I need something done. No job is too big or too small and she treats every project with the same intensity, creativity, and professionalism.

Lynn Garelick, the principal of LBG Interior Design is a consummate professional. As a designer, I found her to be skilled and inventive, yet always attuned to my sensibilities and preferences. She has a "can-do" attitude and follow-though that matches her high standards. Her ability to work within my budget was reassuring and the job---a kitchen and bathroom renovation---were done on time. Her contractor and workers were carefully selected and their work was excellent. Earlier jobs dealing with drapery and furniture reupholstery were also completed with imagination and skill. She is resourceful, and were I seeking help with an entire house or apartment, I would trust Lynn to do the job beautifully.

Lynn has worked with us on two major projects; the expansion and renovation of our home and then, seven years later, the interior design of our downsized high-rise apartment. She creatively re-purposed all of our furnishings and artwork following the drawings to scale for each living space. Lynn also supervised a major master bath renovation as well as several smaller construction projects within the apartment. Her crafts people were superior as well, from upholstered furniture to carpet installation to window treatments. Once again, all of our pieces were delivered on time and in perfect condition. She has great sources for tiles, fabrics and carpeting, lamps, lighting fixtures and the like. In addition, she took great care in artwork placement; the design and furnishing of newly built cabinetry and bookshelves. This project also required close coordination with our general contractor and his subs as well as navigating the strict protocols required by the condominium association and board. Lynn is creative, professional, and meticulous and a true pleasure to work with. I recommend her without reservation!
