Laura is an experienced, talented and confident Interior Design professional. She helped us to see color options for our rooms throughout our whole house. She guided us to colors that we could agree on, holding swatches up to the wall together so we could see how they worked. Her recommendations were spot on and we were very receptive to her suggestions. She helped us to see color options for our rooms that we'd never even thought of before, and took into consideration of our budget when making her recommendations. She did everything from working with contractors and making other design considerations to make our house feel warm and calm. Laura Birns Design is a first rate design company. We hired Laura when we remodeled our home. The remodel was extensive--affected almost every room in the house, to include kitchen, master bath, family room and a specialty music room. We moved walls, extended the size of the kitchen, changed the math bath completely and added a music room to our second floor. I wanted the point of view of of a designer who will focus on functionality as well as esthetics. I am thankful every day for the fact that I chose Laura to sketch her vision of these rooms. Her suggestions and ideas were spot on in every single instance and the end result of the remodeled home is so much better than what we originally envisioned when the project was begun. Laura extensively interviewed me and walked my space prior to drawing the specifications of my master bedroom furniture.
