I highly recommend Lake Shore Stair Company. We hired Lake Shore Stair Co. to replace our balustrade and paint our stairs. They were wonderful to work with from the beginning. Communication and turnaround time were excellent. We are thrilled with the transformation the change made in our house. They do beautiful work!

We had a new balustrade system installed in August, 2017 -- new wood railing, rail, balusters, and oak box newel. The installer was terrific and very skilled in his work. Lake Shore visited, quoted, installed and billed all with their very professional staff. The work was completed in a very timely manner. The finished product improved the appearance of our staircase 100%. The installer was neat, courteous, and most helpful with suggestions. I would highly recommend Lake Shore Stair Company.

Lake Shore Stair installed custom balusters, newel posts and rails and also refinished and stained my existing stairs. They did a great job from start to finish and the staircase looks great! Everyone I worked with was knowledgable and professional every step of the way.

On a few occasions Lake Shore Stair company provided solid wood treads and or handrail for us. From initial shop drawing stage through-out the project, LSS were very compliant to expedite project submittals , fabrication per project requirements, adjustments to detail , limited punch items, all performed in a timely manner. Since we first asked Lake Shore Stair to design and install a four flight stair 15 years ago we have never looked back. As design builders we bring LSS into early meetings so that the stair design is distinctive and so that each floor plan can be optimized around the best stair layout. From Modern to Traditional, in new homes and restorations, using hardwood, structural steel, glass, stainless steel, cables, wrought iron, LED lighting. If the architects come up with it, LSS can make it happen. My favorite was the restoration of a 134 year old curved stair, newel and balustrade of mahogany in an Old Town parsonage. Their work brought the house to life! We continue to rely on their fine carpentry and expertise and look forward to the next project with them.

I hired Lakeshore Stair to remodel the old drywall staircase wall in the entry of my clients home. They removed the 1/2 walls and installed metal balusters and wood rails. What a transformation! It immediately opened the entry space and made it look truly elegant. I have been working with Lakeshore Stair for over 15 years, having them install custom staircases for our business.
