Comfort Flooring was founded in 1988 in the small town of Lakeville in northern Indiana. In 2006 we moved our operation 3120 N Home Street Mishawaka, IN into our current 6000sf showrooms. In 2023 we opened our 2 location to increase the service area. Our stylish showrooms offers tile, hardwood, vinyl plank, laminate and carpet. We offer installation of all flooring types as well as custom tiled showers, backsplashes and fireplaces. The owners, Kristy & Roger Rice, take great pride in training and maintaining our outstanding level of customer service and installation. Our employees are dedicated to the continued learning of our markets and products so we can provide our customers with the most knowledgeable staff in the flooring market. We got tremendous service in making our floor selection. The sales staff asked some questions and made many recommendations. We did not have that treatment in 2 other flooring stores. Great job on the sales end and floor is ordered. Looking forward to the finished look!!!! I would recommend them if you need flooring.

We had hardwood floors installed in 3 rooms and hallway. Kristy was great to work with. She came to our home and gave us great suggestions as to color and type of product. She basically walked us through the entire process and we love the results!

Comfort Flooring came in after a sewer line overflowed ruining the floors in four out of 7 rooms on our main level. They worked with us to choose the right hardwood, which was slightly difficult since we wanted to match the original hardwood to the home (from the 60s!), and choose tile for the entry and mudroom. When it came time for installation, we had a brand new baby in the home. Needless to say, it was stressful having our home in disarray but we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our installers were EXCELLENT. Their work was impeccable--everyone comments on our floors and how seamlessly they flow with the original flooring. They were kind, respectful, and worked effortlessly to finish on time. Not a day goes by that I don't look at our floors with relief and satisfaction.

Comfort Flooring has a lovely showroom displaying a wide range of products and staffed by efficient and caring professionals that take pride in helping their customers. Through their experience and knowledge, we were guided to choose both a vinyl plank flooring and an engineered hardwood for our basement restoration project. We found their pricing to be competitive, their customer service outstanding, and their installation impeccable. Our project was completed in the time frame desired and at the cost we had been quoted. We moved into a beautiful house with a lot of tile and a super traditional feel. We have a big family and the traditional styling of the home didn't work. Comfort flooring was amazing in helping us through the process of removing all the tile and installing the perfectly eclectic, rustic, and all inclusing wood floor that pulls in all the different wood types and colors throughout our house. As a messy and difficult of a job, they worked through the job and with us as professionally and helpful as possible. We have received many compliments and love the more eclectic and modernized feel our beautiful woods floor bring to our home. So much so that we just hired Comfort flooring to install our backsplash in our kitchen.

Not really knowing how to approach choosing flooring for our first home, Kristy stepped in to guide our decision making process. I was surprised that Comfort Flooring had unique options for tile and carpet. Kristy was extremely helpful, but never pushy. This summer we were working with a really great client. We were replacing her family room wall to wall carpeting. Kristy from Comfort Flooring met me at the client's home with several samples. She was extremely knowledgeable about quality. The family room is a really high traffic area and Kristy offered suggestions as to which carpet would be the best option for my client's room. We met at the Comfort Flooring showroom for the final selection. During that meeting my client also chose two gorgeous custom area rugs. The installation went without a hitch. Very professional and exceptional service. Appointment made and met with Sales Person within 24 hours of call and was on time with samples and measuring equipment.
