We had a great experience and outcome working with Pam from KOD. She presented four kitchen designs and we ultimately meshed two of them into a beautiful kitchen with an island, my number one and only wish list item. She also put in a lot of details with the drawings and dimensions for the contractor since we were moving all the major workstations to new areas of the kitchen. I also appreciated her time in helping me choose the right fixtures/colors. Guests always compliment our new kitchen and have called it magazine worthy.

Kitchens of Diablo remodeled our kitchen a few years back and so when it came time to remodel the rest of the house, we knew exactly who to call. KOD does outstanding work. Each person on the team is a true artist and expert in their field. From our first meeting with Jackie, the designer, through demo, to installation, and our final walk through, KOD made the project stress free and professional. They worked within our guidelines and expertly guided us through every step of the process. Each installation date from start to finish was completed on time.The site was immaculate throughout. This was a six month job that included most of the house.There was not one day we felt inconvenienced. KOD did everything we asked and more. No detail was left unattended. This is a very professional company with employees who know what they are doing, care about their work, and will become a part of your family.

We worked with Kitchens of Diablo for our kitchen and master bath design & remodel - while we had some specific ideas in mind, Shelley and Jackie were able to bring fresh insight and industry knowledge to our project, and really went above and beyond. From initial consultations thru the design-phase, and even during & after installation; Jackie was a dream to work with, and invaluable as a trusted resource and go-to. We would happily work with them again!

I recently had my master bathroom remodeled. I was SO confused by all of the bids by contractors that I received and the different ways that they approached the project. I finally bit the bullet and hired Kitchens of Diablo/Shawn Lober Construction. I could tell that the job would be done right. First of all the design staff (Jackie) was terrific and fun to work with when I was somewhat overwhelmed. Secondly, the construction crew was excellent on all fronts. Every sub contractor and every Lober employee was pleasant and comfortable to have in our home. They did what they were supposed to do and always did it right. They asked my opinion when it was needed, otherwise just came and went and did "their thing". The job took a long time but, the final project was more perfect than I could ever have imagined. Perfect might not be a strong enough word.

Shelley listened to my needs and created a unique design according to my taste which was different from any other I had seen. Her attention to detail was perfect and her customer service was fantastic. I love my kitchen and highly recommend Kitchens of Diablo!

Working with Kitchens of Diablo on our bathroom remodel was a complete success. We now enjoy a bathroom that functions better than it had and looks modern and sleek. I would not hesitate to recommend both Shawn and Shelley Lober for any project. They also handled a complete office build-out of 8,000 square feet for us in Emeryville. Skylights were added, custom ceiling feature, kitchen, 3 bathrooms, enclosed glass conference room. All first rate.

I can't say enough about Shelly from Kitchens of Diablo. She was dedicated to my kitchen design and addressed all of my concerns. Her suggestions made our kitchen function much more easily. Also she was able to maximise what I thought would be unusable space. The quality of cabinets and hardware are the best. We get complements often when people come over about how nice our kitchen is. Also Shelly personally checked every cabinet upon delivery to make sure everything was perfect. I shopped around a lot, and by far Kitchens of Diablo was the best value hands down.

Kitchens of Diablo did an AMAZING job on our Master Bedroom/Bathroom remodel. Starting with the plans and then executing to the finishing touches. They removed walls and a fireplace, then reworked the space, added windows, closet space and a large bathroom to make a beautiful Master Bedroom/bathroom retreat. They have years of experience and were very knowledgable. They remained right on budget with no hidden costs. They reviewed each expense to the very last detail so we knew what to expect. They were VERY dependable, timely, professional and respectful to us as a homeowner. I highly recommend!!!!
