Karen Gallagher is the most creative, kind, and inspiring interior decorator that I've ever met. She's been involved in choosing all the colors and doing all the decorative painting for both our country home and condo. She's color-washed, stenciled, and hand-painted murals on the walls, chosen furniture, lighting fixtures, fabrics, and rugs, etc. to create warmth with an artistic flair that captures the essence and spirit of both me and my husband, which is no small task. Every time a new person visits both our home and condo, the first comment is how beautiful the space is, followed by, "Who did you hire?" If I could give Karen an 11-star rating out of 10 stars, I would. She's a brilliant artist and interior designer, and an absolute joy to work with. We could not be happier with the the job Karen Gallagher did on our Jupiter home! Having just moved in, our house didn't need a total remodel, but we needed help with creative updates, overall cohesion between the rooms and adding new and vintage statement furniture to add character to a 1980's home. The biggest challenge was how to update our existing kitchen and bathrooms without spending a fortune. Karen suggesting saving the cabinetry but switching out the counter tops and backsplash. Total game changer and environmentally friendly. A dead zone in the great room now has beautiful custom book shelves that give us the storage we need and adds some depth to the room. We discovered in the process, that Karen has a background in fine arts which translated into getting creative with color and texture. It definitely nudged me outside my comfort zone but the final result is a happy home filled with color by way of wall paper, paint and fabulous vintage pieces that make our house a joy to come home to.

Karen has helped me with too many home projects to count. In the last 20 years she has been my go to for any home project, design, new build, custom window treatments, tile and paint selections. Her expertise and custom designs are the best in the business. She really listens to what I have to say and gets me when I can't quite articulate how i want my house to feel. I cannot speak highly enough on her professionalism and knowledge of anything and everything that has to do with home design. She has truly made my house a home!

This is the third home I have hired Karen to assist with interior and exterior design. Two uniquely different assignments; spec house design ensuring appeal to a variety of styles, and building our new dream home. Wanting our home to reflect ‘our style’ we spent hours on the design details. We felt we needed to manage the details to ensure it reflected us. We became overwhelmed by the many options, styles, and so much ‘free’ advice from the contractors. We were making decisions and changing our minds as the result of opinions. Our stress level was high, this was very personal; it was our new home and we struggled with our vision. I contacted Karen for help after the construction was well underway, however she quickly got up to speed on the major design decisions, gained an understanding of our vision, our style, likes and dislikes. She provided design suggestions and guidance where she felt styles conflicted, and offered alternate options. Our hectic unconventional design approach continued throughout the build. I texted, emailed and called Karen at all hours of the day and night. Karen never flailed adapting to this ‘sounding board’ design approach often adjusting her schedule at the last minute to meet our requests. We placed a lot of trust in Karen and a lot of pressure on her to provide direction and raise concerns with our design choices. It was hectic and stressful but Karen adapted, a true professional helping us to successfully accomplish building our dream home! A successful designer is knowledgeable of styles and product, adaptable to individual client styles and personality and provides expert advice to ensure the client achieves their vision. Karen, thank you for your flexibility adapting to this unconventional approach, helping guide us with your expert advice all with patience, poise and your trademark smile and sense of humor.
