We are on our third project with Gabrielle and Claude! They are a fantastic team. They have lots of experience, they are very focused on the details and intricacies of the project, their designs are beautiful and they are so delightful to deal with.

We were introduced to the Kenora Design team Claude and Gabrielle Lord by our builder Bill Benson. He recommended them highly as skilled and creative, both living and working in the Whiteshell area. From a concept picture we had came a plan that perfectly suited the property. They maximized the rocky landscape—-not to mention one massive rock— that had to be accommodated as well as the beautiful water views. Gabby worked with us for many months on tweaking the plan as building commenced and was always approachable, professional and fun too! She has a keen eye and played an integral part in the successful completion of our lovely build.

We have worked with Kenora Design Group for over ten years on various projects. Claude has designed and project managed a boat house and an extensive log cottage renovation. His experience with building projects and building materials, as well as, his many relationships with trades has been invaluable. Claude is extremely creative and innovative while maintaining a practical approach to his projects. He is always available to assist with questions or concerns and embraces each project with a positive attitude and enthusiasm. We have also had the pleasure to work with Gabby on a kitchen renovation and interior details of our cottage. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she ensures that the client’s desires are operationalized with every project. Gabby is extremely professional and possesses a genuine and upstanding personality. We highly recommend Kenora Design Group.

Kenora Design was recommended by lake neighbours for our cottage renovation. In our initial meeting with Claude, he began the visioning process and recommended Jason Kehl as our builder. This was a perfect combination. Combining Claude and Gabby's overall design with Gabby's ongoing involvement in the project and Jason's meticulous execution of the build, we are delighted with the results.

We cannot say enough about Claude Lord and the Kenora Design Group to express our appreciation for the wonderful work and positive experiences we have enjoyed in the projects we have undertaken with them. Claude listens to his customers to truly understand what they are seeking to do, and delivers thoughtful and creative solutions. Claude stays invested during and after project completion to ensure work is completed to his/our standards. As a lake person, Claude is sensitive to working with and protecting the natural surroundings, while providing innovative design. The piece of mind we have had implementing our projects, while 2 hours away from our cottage, is entirely due to the trust we have in the Kenora Design Group. Claude designed our beautiful cottage and directed us to our builder Bill Benson. The two of them worked collaboratively to create the retreat we had been hoping for. We first started discussing our project with Claude in the fall of 2007, indicating we wanted to be able to start building in 2009, and our timeline was met perfectly. We have no complaints or concerns whatsoever. Some changes were required during the build, due to unforeseen obstacles during the excavation, and communication between Claude, our builder, and ourselves allowed this to occur seamlessly. We are thrilled with the outcome.
