We asked Kate to design, source and organise the decoration of our holiday home, which had come as a blank canvas. From our very first meeting we knew that we wanted to work with Kate because from just spending an hour with us, she completely understood, better than we did ourselves, exactly what we wanted. We were blown away by her first concept design – we’re both very particular but Kate had listened to what we liked and didn’t, and then brought her own creative flair to create a design that was even better than we could have imagined. Kate’s not only extremely creative with a fantastic eye for putting furniture and design together, she’s also a complete perfectionist and is amazing at the small touches. She’s also very flexible and has a huge range of ideas. She combines that with being superbly organised, keeping meticulous records and sending easy to follow updates. To arrange everything she did, including deliveries and trades, through covid, and to get our house looking as perfect as it does was a really remarkable achievement. We couldn’t be happier and everyone who’s seen our house has been blown away by it; it really is beautiful but also a perfect, liveable, second family home at the same time. We can’t wait to have Kate work with us again, we just have the small matter of moving first! Thank you Kate, you’re amazing!

We employed Kate from Kate Harris Interior Design to redesign our two little girls™s bedrooms, which they were fast growing out of. Kate listened carefully to our (and their!) requirements and came up with two very individual themed bedrooms for them whilst purchasing furniture pieces to take them into their teenage years and beyond. Kate ensures that the smallest details are taken into consideration and chose some beautiful little personalised items for each of the girls. Thank you Kate!

Having bought a holiday home in Whitstable I was looking for more than a builder to design and oversee all the considerable works needed for the house. I had a meeting with Kate from Kate Harris Interior Design and decided that I’d like to work with her. She exceeded all my expectations, designing an absolutely beautiful, warm & calm space whilst overseeing all the required building works (damp proof course, new floor joists, plumbing, rewire etc. etc.). I loved her design which included 2 completely refitted shower rooms, a beautiful extended kitchen and she even turned her hand to the garden! With regular meetings and updates – Kate was a pleasure to work with and clear and transparent with pricing and updates. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
