Karyn Dismore has been designing unique and inviting interiors for clients for over 20 years. Karyn studied and graduated abroad, and went on to live and work on three different continents, including Africa, Asia and Europe before finally hanging her design hat in North America. Karyn’s extensive exposure to global cultures, architecture and materials have all influenced her ideas and designs today. These unique experiences have shaped her ability to express specific traditions, values and lifestyles, melding together the best designs, ideas, techniques and materials the world has to offer. Karyn has an uncommon ability to transform a room in a way that truly represents a family’s character, bringing alive the chapters of one’s story…past, present and aspired. Today Karyn’s own design firm, Karyn Dismore Interiors based in Dallas, Texas specializes in both interior and exterior design, remodeling, custom home builds, Commercial Hospitality projects and Holiday decorating. KDI’s business is largely based on referrals from clients who appreciate Karyn’s expertise in enhancing livability, maintaining style and exceeding clients expectations.

I am blessed to have found Karyn Dismore Interiors. Due to water damage, we gutted our kitchen and breakfast room. The project was overwhelming from selecting cabinets, floors and appliances to keeping the budget within the insurance company's estimate. Karyn sourced a fabulous general contractor to kick off the project. They worked as a team to design our kitchen just the way we wanted and within our strict budget. Karyn's eye for detail coupled with her expertise in interior design is a powerful package. Once she discerned our style, she managed our expectations in order to stay within the budget parameters. She is smart, strives for excellence and prides herself with satisfying her client. I would highly recommend her! So thrilled with our new kitchen and breakfast room! Thank you Karyn and team!

She created a space that was both elegant and relaxed, ensuring that our taste was carefully considered, whilst keeping within our budget. It is rare that a major decorating project over an extended period of time comes off without a hitch. I am happy to report that I can honestly say that the project was perfect in every way. The house and garden look wonderful. I can't tell you the number of compliments that we have received. Karyn has great taste and such wonderful spatial talents. Things are the right size in the right place and the right colors. It all seems to just fit together perfectly. The bonus to the project is that Karyn is so sweet and so much fun. I highly recommend Karyn, and I know that you will enjoy the experience as much as I did. You will enjoy all the compliments too!! Again, I highly recommend Karyn Dismore Interiors.

When we bought our new house we needed some help with a furniture placement, bedding and new accessories. And my friend recommended to us Karyn Dismore Interiors designer company, which is a local company. Karyn, the owner, greeted us with a smile when me and my husband met her for the first time consultation. We could tell she was a very professional and creative person. I am so happy with my new bedding, pillows and beautiful accessories. Every piece is expertly made, beautiful color combinations and very artistic.

Karyn assisted us with interior design and choosing furniture, carpet/rugs, window treatments and accessories for our master bathroom, dining room, living room and media room. She worked to focus our style/taste choices, including moving from more traditional furnishings to more transitional ones. She did a wonderful job providing numerous options and discussing the style implications with making various choices. There was no pressure to do everything at once; rather, Karyn was extremely flexible in doing things at our pace and within our budget. Strongly recommended!
