Jennifer was the reason our new home turned out so great! We downsized to a smaller home we custom built. She was awesome determining what furniture we should use from our prior home. Where Jennifer was truly an outstanding professional was in the design of our new home. The ceilings and custom features of our home are truly one of a kind. She and her staff were instrumental in all the decisions pertaining to the construction selections for our new home. Additionally she is decorating our new home with window treatments, furniture selections, wallpaper, etc. She is great to work with and listens to what the client wants. Jennifer is very creative!

When my husband and I built a home 10 years ago, we hired Jennifer to make our house a home. She assisted with furniture, draperies, floor coverings, and accessorizing the entire home. She has an incredible ability to make any room she enters a work of art. She is well known in our city for her work in homes in many price ranges. She treats everyone as if they are her "best customer" and always presents the perfect decorating plan. I have also worked with her as a member of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra League. We hired Jennifer and her team to design a room that would be the focal point when you entered our new home. The space was awkward in shape with a poor lightning and color choices. Jennifer took a lot of time to create design options for us that spoke to our taste and vision, but with some elements to challenge our aesthetic. The outcome was amazing. Having worked with a designer before, what was most impressive about working with Jennifer and team was the caliber of options she was able to provide that were unlike things I had seen before- wall paper, lighting fixtures, floor and window coverings, art, etc.- I feel like she truly created a unique and beautiful space that will not be seen in another home. She delivered "sophisticated", "wow" and "unique" all in one space.

We were just wrapping up a renovation/new addition to our existing home and Jennifer helped us tie together our existing room & furnishings to the more modern and upscale addition. She is absolutely fantastic with coordinating colors and bringing the color theme from room to room. She is very creative and artistic, and was a big help with fitting furniture to room sizes and styles.

Jennifer has helped me over several years with efforts both big and small. The first major project was my family room and it turned out beautifully. She coordinated all the work and all the furniture orders. The second major project was my kitchen remodel which was done last December in 11 business days. Jennifer acted as the general contractor since I wasn't changing the kitchen foot print, but my kitchen was gutted to the walls. She has excellent rapport with good contacts in all the different trades involved. She made sure everything was in place (i.e. custom cabinets were ready, granite reserved, appliances delivered) and schedules were agreed to before any work started. At the end of the 11 days, we still needed to order the back splash and the window treatments, but the kitchen was functioning and beautiful. She has a great eye for color!

We discovered Jennifer Stoner 8 years ago when we were visiting the Richmond Symphony Designers showcase. While there were many other designers exhibiting their work, we fell in love with Jennifers aesthetic. She has helped decorate two houses for us, created a Christmas wonderland for our community house tour and is about to work with us again to decorate a long-awaited wine cellar and lounge area. We continue to come back to Jennifer because she has been able to work with our sense of traditional, eclectic and sometimes whimsical aesthetic. She has a true knowledge and eye for design and color that can't be learned...she is a natural! Her commitment to our projects, dedication to completing an assignment from start to finish, and wonderful personality have made what can be a very stressful time, instead a very exciting experience.

We are very pleased with Jennifer Stoner's design of our newly remodeled home. She was thorough, creative, honest with price options and took care of every issue we had. She was able to please all 7 of us in each of our bedrooms and all of us in the main living areas. She was able to create "our style" rather than reproduce designs she had previously created elsewhere. The space we live in is both flexible and beautiful. Above all else, she was masterful in designing a creative and soothing color palette that moved and changed from room to room, so that our more ecclectic furnishings blended well. Excellent at steering us to the more substantial quality anchor pieces. She even designed our chandelier so that the scale would be perfect. We are very happy with her work- the experience was a pleasure.
