Jo Hamilton, creative director at Jo Hamilton Interiors, is widely regarded as one of the UK’s leading interior designers, noted for her confident grasp of colour, intelligent use of space and luxury aesthetic. She is also a respected writer, design commentator, property finder, public speaker and broadcaster. Jo prides herself on delivering stunning, high-end interiors no matter what the budget, while her reputation for excellence has seen her appointed a judge for both the What House? Awards and the International Property Awards. She has appeared on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky. She is resident interior designer at Grand Designs Live, where she is also a key speaker and show ambassador along with Channel Four stars Kevin McCloud, Charlie Luxton and George Clarke. She is also ambassador and key speaker for House Ireland. Further public speaking appointments have included Index Dubai, the International Property Awards and Top Drawer. Jo launched her interior design career in 1995 and since then Jo Hamilton Interiors has grown into one of the most recognised high-end design agencies in London. She has been involved in many prestigious developments in Britain and overseas. Past commissions have ranged from exclusive City apartments to stylish country retreats, from sleek bars, clubs and restaurants to stunning homes, offices and hotels. She continues to take commissions nationally and internationally. In addition to her commissioned work, Jo runs interior design courses at five-star Central London venues, such as the Sanderson Hotel, Charlotte Street Hotel and Covent Garden Hotel, for both members of the public and professional interior designers.
