Based in Hamptons, NY, and NYC, Eisner Design was founded in 1991 by Joseph Eisner on the principle that design must reflect and adapt to the continuously changing conditions of contemporary life and be a source of social change in its own right. A clear concept of progressive, modernist thinking and a minimalist sensibility are the hallmarks of our architectural practice. As strong proponents of sustainable design, Eisner Design incorporates green building fundamentals in everything we do. EisnerGreen, a division of Eisner Design, is dedicated to greening existing buildings. "Architecture is more of a process than a product. Joe and his team make an incredibly talented firm, one of the best in New York City and definitely the best in the Hamptons. We selected Joe’s firm for a quote complex outdoor project that entailed the re-do of a very large deck and building from scratch a 23’x15’ mahogany pergola. They supported us from the 3D architectural design to the building department blueprints to the oversight of the project. Joe’s attention to every minimal detail is relentless which is what you need from an architect. He’s very open, communicative and dedicated (often it was him or his team chasing me rather than vice versa as it often happens with architectural firms). design is clean, elegant and modern and turned out to be an amazing project thanks to him. We very highly recommend Eisner Design for projects of any complexity, really impressive.

I hired Eisner Design for a condo conversion project. Joe Eisner was very professional, knowledgeable, and explained every step of my project. Their ideas and plans were inline with what I wanted. Joe and his team were very responsive and proactive in helping us create our ideal basement playroom space. He was able to take all the images and ideas that I gave him and come up with a cohesive and well thought out space and design that my 4 children and my husband all love to be in. The team had a great eye sense of design and vision.

We hired Joe Eisner and his team to renovate our Manhattan apartment. The Eisner team was incredibly creative in coming up with innovative solutions to combine our apartments more seamlessly, open up the space, and modernize and brighten an otherwise old and dark apartment. They listened carefully, were very responsive to our needs, both architectural and financial, and recommended and worked seamlessly with a fantastic contractor. I would highly recommend them.

Hired Eisner Design to help us design and renovate our flagship location in Park Slope. It was by far the smartest move we made. In the few months since we have opened, LITERALLY every single person that has come in has complimented on how stunning the place looks! I can't express how fortunate we feel to have worked with Joe and his team. Never in our wildest dreams did we envision having such a beautiful place. Every little detail from the microdot paint to the lighting was done brilliantly. There are not enough words to express how nice, professional and trustworthy Joe is. Knowing we had Joe, his team and a contractor he normally works with helping us with the project was the best peace of mind. If your looking for a top notch architect, Eisner Design is the way to go.

I hired Eisner Design for the design and oversight of a 10,000 square foot, ground-up condominium development in Manhattan. The design was well-thought out and the spaces flowed extremely well, bringing in maximum light from all exposures. The materials and finishes were well-integrated and made a strong impression on all of the condo buyers. The team was very responsive throughout the 2-year project. Their turnaround time was excellent. Their deep knowledge of NYC building code was also extremely valuable. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Eisner Design.

I can’t say enough about Joe Eisner and his team. Joe is very professional and creative. always so focused on the needs of the clients and the final results are beautiful and shows in all of his finish out detailing . He and his team were detail orientated and great communicators , extremely responsive and timely.The attention to detail that he put into the work shows in the final result. The work they delivered with the project was exactly what we looked for transforming a traditional home to a clean, contemporary yet elegant that fits our style.
