Meadow Ridge was contracted to build our dream home January 2014. Meadow Ridge did an excellent job of making our home plans designed by Sticks & Stones a reality. We worked closely with Miles Krahn of Meadow Ridge to ensure our home built within a heritage conservation area in Kelowna received all building permits necessary. Miles and his staff were very helpful in working with my husband (who had recently had a stroke) and myself to make changes to the original building plans and select finishes to ensure we stayed within budget as well as meet the City's requirements. We moved into our new home January 15 2015 and have been delighted with the quality of work and how well the house meets our expectations. We recently had a small issue and were delighted that Justin (who has taken over for Miles) responded immediately and resolved the issue. Our home was completed when promised and within budget and we were entirely satisfied.

Meadow Ridge Homes built our custom home. It was important to us to have a builder who delivered a high quality home on budget. Meadow delivered a home of good quality and it was even under budget. Building a custom home is a lot of work and you need a builder who will listen and work with you to provide what you want, keep you realistic and stay on budget. Meadow was great to work with and good with communication during the home build. They build a beautiful home. Meadow did not handle landscaping though, so one recommendation to new home owners is to ensure you set a meeting with Meadow, the designer/engineer, and the developer to discuss how the home will be positioned on the lot and grading with all neighbours.

You two were truly a pleasure to help and work for and we certainly appreciate your kind words and testimonial of your experience with our team!
It is certainly very important to review floor elevations beyond the walls of a planned home and how that will effect the finished grade and surrounding landscaping, specifically regarding retaining of land between neighboring lots where different elevations exist. These are excellent words of advice for others to discuss with their builder, and equally important for builders and lot developers to review with their customers early in the design stage.
