Here is a guy who is passionate about working with wood, and providing the best possible service. His pride in the quality and service he provides stands out, true old-fashioned values. Ian supply and installed bespoke oak bedroom furniture in our Victorian terrace in York, with wonky floor, walls and ceilings....not a problem. We're delighted with the fitted wardrobes and top notch quality.

We used Ian for various different projects in our new home - to create our dream kitchen, a very contemporary bespoke TV cabinet and also some amazing shelving and cabinets for our home officer. His attention to detail is fantastic and I would never be concerned about the quality of the work - everything is of the highest standard. Having worked with many other joiners and cabinet makers over the years I know this is not to be taken for granted! Ian and his team are a dream to work with - friendly, reliable, hardworking and will meet the deadlines they commit to. Couldn't recommend more highly!

The job brief was to make some oak bedside tables with drawers and install some fitted oak furniture (wardrobe and desk) for my teenage son's bedroom. I really liked the look of Ian's website and the quality and standard of his workmanship stood out immediately. Ian responded straight away to my initial enquiry in February, requesting photos and dimensions so that we could come up with some ideas and he could get an estimate to me. He then came round to the house to measure up and discuss the finer details. He is clearly a busy man and in demand, so wasn't able to fit the furniture until July, but thankfully, he was able to come a week earlier than initially scheduled. In the meantime, we corresponded by email where necessary and Ian was very, patient and accommodating with any subsequent queries or changes of mind on my part. On the day of fitting, he was here at 07.30am and didn't leave until 09.00pm, determined to do a thorough job and get everything in place. He and his workmate beavered away all day, left hardly a mark on the freshly decorated bedroom and left it all very clean and tidy. The furniture was just beautiful - the quality of the oak, the soft close drawers. Ian installed it over the newly fitted carpet and it looked really classy. The furniture far surpassed my expectations and best of all my hard-to-please teenage son was absolutely over the moon with it. Happy son, happy Mum! I am of the opinion that you pay that bit more for good quality, well-made furniture which will last a lifetime and beyond. I have no hesitation in recommending Ian's services to anyone. Had a fantastic new kitchen fitted, including a range of bespoke cupboards, new appliances and lighting. The quality of the work is excellent. Wonderful service from the very first discussion through to the finished product. Friendly, helpful and courteous and a high degree of professionalism. I couldn't have wished for anything more.

My vague design idea was interpreted brilliantly plus came in on time and on budget! My vanity unit looks amazing and is exactly what I wanted! Thank you :) They are real craftsmen and I would use them again in a heartbeat!
