We engaged this company to redesign our master bathroom and we were astonished with the quality of the renderings and the design. The building process went extremely well and was completely transparent. We knew what was happening at al times and the outcome was even better than anticipated. The owner was responsive and listened to us to understand our primary objectives and style. His ideas were both practical and beautiful, and he was realistic with our budget. I was very hands-on during the planning and execution, and he was a good partner. His subcontractors were all excellent. They are all highly-skilled perfectionists that took their time to do things right the first time. Communication was driven by me (asking for updates, etc.) and the owner was responsive to my needs. Although the timing of our installation was delayed due to COVID, work shortages, etc., out of the owners' control, the end result was well worth the wait and came in on budget. Any challenges, issues, or concerns were also resolved in a mutually respectful way (any construction project will have some bumps or inadvertent miscommunication along the way--the key was handling them with grace). Would absolutely hire again.

Taking a basement from 100% clutter and storage to a beautiful, functional space was quite a journey. We considered several different companies for this project but Ric/Home Sweet Home Remodeling stood out for a number of reasons: 1) we were sold on Ric’s experience as a builder and his ability to help us maximize our space. 2) through his virtual design work, it allowed us to have a better understanding of color choices and various floor plans and 3) and lastly because of the quality of his work and his employees. Everyone was prompt, worked full days and completed the project in a timely manner. The result is nothing short of stunning and has become our favorite part of the house.

We researched remodeling companies at length and interviewed three contractors before we decided on Home Sweet Home to remodel our kitchen. Ric was the best listener and we could tell he was very good at his job/had tons of experience. My husband and I are very detail oriented and wanted everything to be perfect. Ric (and his crew!) were insanely patient with us and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end result. Our custom-made cabinets are a work of art. Ric, the owner of Home Sweet Home, was able to create a luxury bath which turned out to be exactly what we had requested. Ric walked us through the entire process providing 3-D drawings, photos and a list of companies that could provide us with floor and shower tile, granite, fixtures, lights, mirrors and had a custom linen closet made which is awesome. Thank you to Ric and the entire team for all your work this year. We are extremely happy with our kitchen, laundry, and bathroom remodels. No one could have predicted mixing COVID-19 into the building process. Despite the many curve balls, we were only unable to use the kitchen for less than a week during the remodeling. Although we were working from home, the team made sure to work around our schedule and keep the kitchen operational for making lunches. From the design stages to the final reveal, the team was persistent and adaptable. As we worked through the design, Ric was able to take our concepts and bring them to life. Ric took our original cabinet depictions and was able to source custom cabinets that exceeded our expectations. While COVID-19 created a challenge for finding materials, this did not prevent the team from seeing our design through. The affordability and flexibility of the project let the project flow with minor hiccups. We love our new kitchen and will continue to enjoy making delicious food in this space for many years to come.

Ric made it possible for us to stay up and running with our stove, refrigerator and sink as long as possible. Ric never said no to any ideas we had but showed us how we could improve on some of them. The quality of the custom cabinets Ric chose were high end and at a good price. The granite countertop we chose from Crown Granite and Marble was beautiful and installed perfectly. We still cannot believe that even with a pandemic going on, that everything went so smoothly. We contacted Richard to do some ceiling repair work after we had a pipe repaired in the ceiling. He sent one of his contractors to repair the hole in the ceiling and retexture the ceiling. The work was completed in a few days and the texture matched the existing texture so well you could not tell where the hole was. The price was very fair and the contractor was very professional and on time. We will be contacting Ricard to help us remodel our kitchen.
