Dear Bryan and Joyce Kinkley, we are disappointed that you are still not happy with your cabinetry. We did everything we could to address your concerns. For example, refinished it 4 times, replaced your quartz, redesigned your cabinetry and added v-grooves to the fronts of your doors. The owner visited your home multiple times to make these changes from your original selection, in an effort to exceed your expectations and provide exceptional customer service. Everything in your cabinetry meets the provincial and national standard. The inherent nature of wood is to expand and contract. As we have mentioned to you that wood will expand, there is very little that can be done to minimize the nature of wood. Some recommendations and suggestions to any customer are keeping your home at recommended humidity, using MDF doors that do not expand and contract, or alternatively having v-grooved as a control joint on your wood doors. These are standard in the cabinetry industry to help with the movement of wood. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
