Heller Cabinetry

An awful experience. Heller was used by my custom home builder and the experience From start to finish was terrible. Our "designer" was Brian who was in person seemed reasonably knowledgeable but was extremely disorganized and completely incapable of communicating in a professional way that you would expect for a high end project (Think entry level home depot level for how we were treated) . Throughout the project we tried via email to coordinate details, but due to Brian's complete his lack of communication skills we frequently had to just show up at Heller offices unannounced to get him to understand the most simple of requests. Throughout the project silly stupid mistakes from the lack of attention to detail were made and numerous errors. In some cases the cabinets were damaged and needed to be replaced (but we had to demand). Drawers were misaligned which required numerous visits to get them straight and eventually the builder just fixed them as did they with several other issues. The countertop installation team made horrible decisions (placement of seams/cuts), damaged the countertop (cracked) and scratched the material badly. There were specific instructions for them to contact the homeowners to make decisions but they just did what they wanted and cut material in the wrong places. In summary a very unprofessional job by anyone's standards. We had to demand Heller replace the damaged slabs. As a final insult to us, we asked about the paint type and color for cabinets so we could touch things up and got a "we never disclose that our customers".. Really I'm trying to help you out?Complete lack of customer focus by heller. Working with heller on a high end spec project was an awful experience and I would never recommend working with them either directly or through a builder. But whatever you do keep them out of your high end showcase project

I HAVE WORKED WITH HELLER CABINETRY FOR 4 YEARS , AS A CABINET INSTALLER I RATE THEM HIGH, BETWEEN WORKING STEVE HELLER AND THE SALES STAFF CHRIS, BRIAN , AND PAUL AND EVEN WITH SHOP PROFESSIONAL ED AND EVEN WITH DELIVERY WITH MATT IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND HELLER CABINETRY.

We were recommended to Heller by our son. We met with Chris and after several meetings, came to an agreement on kitchen cabinet product we wanted. It was delivered in a totally acceptable time frame, just a few days prior to the removal of our existing kitchen. All the parts were shipped properly packaged and the assembly by the installer went very quickly with all parts fitting exactly. It was a good product. One problem was experienced. The self-closing trash door would not completely close. Heller sent their workman for a number of times but the problem would not resolved at no fault of theirs. They ordered new hardware but it still would not close. The factory was notified and within several weeks, a completely new upgraded cabinet was received and has worked well ever since. I highly recommend Heller and their staff

Chris and staff at Heller are fantastic! They truly care about helping their customers achieve exactly what they want. They are a breath of fresh air in a world where service appears to be a thing of the past. If you are looking for top notch service, installation and quality look no further, Heller has all of these!

Great Service and excellent installation of our semi-custom cabinets. Thanks again to Chris and the larger Heller team for providing such a great buying and installation experience. They followed through and followed up after the delivery. Any issues we had (which were minimal) were promptly resolved by the team members. Absolute professionals that care about customer service.

I am a local Interior Designer and recently completed a project with Heller Cabinetry. Together, we created a very unique space for a dot.com company called Cinchshare. Heller was hired by the GC and this was my first time working with them, but my experience with this company was absolutely fantastic! Chris Leach was open to every unique idea we had and provided many of his own helping to make this space truly one of a kind! Their installers were incredibly professional and punch list items were handled quickly as well. As a professional in the design/build industry it makes my job so much easier when you work with a company such as this who is organized, delivers on-time and pays attention to every detail both in the design phase as well as the installation! I would highly recommend this company again to anyone.

We were very pleased with the entire Heller Team with picking out our selections with our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room cabinetry. After installation, we were immediately taken care of with action on the few corrections we had. The Heller Cabinetry is a beautiful addition to our new home.

My wife and I have remodeled our kitchen in phases and during each phase Chris Leach has been a joy to work with. He is incredibly competent, creative, works well with his clients when there are budget limitations and he put us in some high end quality cabinets for a price we could afford. The installation of the products went flawlessly and we have confidently referred Heller Cabinets to all who inquire about who did our remodel.

Working with Chris was awesome. He really listened and helped create the look I was hoping for. He spent as much time as I needed to make sure each room was perfect. I am very happy the way everything turned out.

loved our kitchen design - chris leach did a great job and was very patient with us cabinets are ok - from the day the were installed we had issues with them; even the cabinet rep came out to see the issues we have with them and had lots of promises to be fixed. lesson learned pay the extra 10%-20% and get the better cabinets installation was ok - I did not expect to see big screws and drill holes where they missed the studs inside my finished cabinets with glass doors, after many calls, we did get them to come back and adjust the doors etc. I had to finally give up and live with the big screws on the top showing from through my glass cabinets hate the customer service - you have to call constantly to ask what is going on, they do not call back you back, they provide no updates, we have been waiting since February 2016 for the fixes promised by the cabinet rep (it's now September). we were trying to be patient and stopped calling from February to August. finally could no longer deal with our very warped drawer, so we finally called again in early August to remind them - we had to call many times and finally made poor Chris get the customer service to call us back. they said they have no record of our issue (really?!) and she would look into it and let us know. I posted the picture (same one sent to Heller) of the drawer as it is shut tight - as you can see it is so warped the one side sticks out beyond the granite overhand while the other side is pushed all the way in. most of my drawers are slightly warped (gave up on getting anyone to do anything) but this is the one that is the worst. It's 3 more weeks still no news so now I am writing this so anyone thinking of using Heller knows that it's all great unless you have a problem. What's the point of having cabinets with 100% guarantee if you can't get it fixed. bottom line - we love chris leach' designs, very creative, very patient, listens to what you want and gets it to work in your space i want to recommend his services, but I can't recommend heller customer service
