As a senior who was being sucked in by my old furniture, you reached out to Michelle for HELP!! After a home visit to assess the space in my living room, she made several suggestions as to different choices I had. Never pressuring me...she showed me chairs with back support, which I needed, a firm but comfortable couch, and swatches of fabric. The thought of redoing my living was so overwhelming for me. Michelle took over and it was a breeze. She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Michelle was so patient with me, as at times I couldn't make up my mind. Michelle with Greder Design was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, professional, and has a keen eye for design. When my wife and I decided to redo our kitchen, we hired a contractor. We were not thinking about hiring a designer. Our contractor recommended Michelle. We didn’t know what to expect. Hiring Michelle was the best decision we made. It not only saved us time but it probably saved us money and helped us get better quality of products. Our first appointment with her was about the design. She took perfect measurements and talked to us about what we wanted from our kitchen in terms of product but also how we used the kitchen, who used it, etc. For our second appointment, she came back with three very professional floor plans and we discussed the pros and cons of each. We were still undecided so she came back a third time to discuss our options and then we decided. Instead of spending our weekends shopping for cabinets, flooring, counters, etc., Michelle would come to our house with samples. She would give us her unbiased opinions of the products. (As a Consumer Reports subscriber, I always had my own opinion to share which she was fine with.) Once we decided in the comfort of our home, she would handle everything else - the ordering, the negotiating, the shipping, everything. There were times that we needed input from our contractor and she would handle this as well. There were a few times that products were shipped that weren’t perfect. She would handle their exchange. If needed, she would text or email me (my preferred methods of communications) to get my feedback. In the end, we have a super wonderful kitchen that Michelle designed. We saved countless hours by using Michelle. We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen. Our friends and family remark on the colors, styles, and overall design. (I know if we didn’t use Michelle, we would have designed a typical kitchen without any real design.) Thank you, Michelle!

I cannot speak highly enough about how much of a Godsend Michelle Greder is. I recently moved into my very first apartment alone and needed the space furnished from top to bottom. After looking through various publications, i was so overwhelmed with the ideas swirling around about different pieces and design elements that I would enjoy in my space. Michelle took the time to listen to my ideas and really streamlined my scattered thoughts into an extremely chic aesthetic that really captures who I am. It is a joy to entertain because I'm so proud of my space, and that's all a credit to Michelle. She was able to pull together colors, prints, and textures that are bold, elegant, and just a tad quirky; in essence, me! She pointed me in the direction of quality furniture pieces at Ethan Allen that I know will last and continue looking great for years to come. Each option she presented seemed better than the last. She really knows how to listen and deliver what you don't yet know you want. I would recommend her services to anyone looking to revamp their space, but I would especially recommend her for those who don't yet have an idea of what they want their space to be or how they want it to function. She will listen and then she will make it fabulous!

Michelle was great to work with! She was available and helpful through the entire process, even waiting at the house to let workers/contractors in when I couldn't be there. She knew her stuff, and walked me through the whole process. Plus, and most importantly, the final product was wonderful! Hire her!

I cannot emphasize enough how truly indecisive I am, never exactly sure what I like. Still, I am very particular about what I do NOT like. This can be challenging for even the most skilled designers, and I assumed this new project would be painfully slow. However, with incredible patience, Michelle navigated my chaotic thought process to find the absolute perfect color scheme - one I never would have picked myself, yet somehow encapsulated the very core of who I am! She showed tremendous talent for intuitively gauging my personality, which lent itself to the creation of the perfect space. She often stated that it is the little details that makes great design, and she really knows her details! The overall result was far more than I could have anticipated! Michelle works magic!

Over the past few years I have worked with Michelle while making over my bedrooms, living room and bathrooms. Most recently I wanted to replace my old dining room set and went to see Michelle.
