Gardens Galore

We employed Gardens Galore to renew our patio area, replace stone slabs with gravel around the house and to replace back door steps. We have been massively impressed by the professionalism and friendly and considerate approach that Jamie, Scott (site manager) and his team took throughout the project. They worked hard to catch up when the weather was against them. They went out of their way to clear up after their work. They were polite, approachable and produced work of a fantastic standard. It has been a real pleasure using Gardens Galore and we will certainly be recommending them in the strongest terms to friends and family.

After 21 years of not achieving anything in our garden we decided to look for a business to carry out the work for us. We were keen to find a local company and a search of the internet took us to Gardens Galore and having chosen them to do the work we realised that this was the best decision we had made. After a visit from Jamie, who listened carefully to what our ideas were the project began fairly quickly with regular contact from Kim in relation to payments and timings etc. Day 1 of the project we met the team of Scott, Willie and Harris and later met Piotr an Mo over the course of the project, everyone of whom was hardworking, courteous and professional in their work as they set about removing walls, fences, slabs etc totaling about 60 tonnes of material prior to turning our space into something that we are now really proud of and look forward to inviting our friends to enjoy. It was always pleasant to have a chat with them over a coffee/tea break with Scott constantly keeping us updated on the plans, deliveries etc. As well as carrying out a first class job for us the team were always helpful and did a few tasks for me during the project as well as making some tweaks along the way, which I will be eternally grateful for. Weather didn't seem to bother these guys who worked all day from early morning through to 1600. The team were also very tidy throughout the work. The team also worked around our plans to have a hot tub and pergola installed providing concrete pads and holding off on part of the fencing to facilitate our installations. The project was slightly delayed but only due to a supply problem not of the teams making, however as soon as the materials arrived they were back to complete the job. Customer service by Gardens Galore is probably the best I have ever experienced and if we decide to have more work done at the front of our house then they will be our first call. Highly recommended and thank you for such a fantastic job.

The design took on board elements I wanted in my garden and translated them into a design that fitted the layout of my garden, suggesting three different levels. The team that carried out the extensive landscaping were polite and friendly. They worked hard from before sunrise (think winter in Scotland!) to sunset - about eight hours a day. On a couple of occasions, extra hands were pulled in to make up for a delay caused by bad weather. Gardens Galore contracted to keep the same project manager throughout on a job, and that's what they did. Communication with GG's admin team and with the on-site project manager was excellent at all times. The materials used were good quality and great care was taken to prevent winter frost affecting the walls and pathways under construction. The end product transformed my sloping patch of weeds into something beautiful. GG may not come cheap, but that's because they offer a top-class service.

Had a landscaping project done on my garden by Gardens Galore. From the design to completion, nothing was too much for them. The landscapers were very polite and courteous and carried on working despite the weather. Left the place immaculate. Very happy to recommend Gardens Galore. A most professional company.

The plans for our garden were clear and a quote and date for the work agreed in advance and adhered to. Sean and the lads were prompt and efficient in carrying out the work to a high standard. For the 2 weeks on site they remained cheerful and polite regardless of the weather. Any queries were promptly responded to by Jamie. We are very pleased with the result and would be happy to recommend Gardens Galore.

Jamie and his team did an excellent job on our very big garden. We had steep banks which was levelled out with sleepers forming retaining walls. There was an area set aside for raised beds which was cleverly disguised behind trellis panels and ranch fencing installed all the way around our property. We have a garden room with a raised platform and the team built a seamless pathway to it which allowed for disabled access. Throughout the process we were kept informed and any problem areas that needed addressing they offered the best solutions to deal with it. Their are very professional and expert in garden landscaping and we have no problem in recommending Gardens Galore for any landscaping projects and would use them again.

From the start Gardens Galore gave a good impression. Called the office and spoke with Kim to arrange an appointment. Appointment arranged and Jamie arrived at agreed time. Noted details Plan was made for me to look at. Plan accepted by me and start date agreed. Although there was a slight delay in work starting it commenced on 23rd Nov. My work took over 6 weeks. Sean and Morris were my main landscapers and they were faultless. Working in some terrible conditions they just carried on. Your Garden will probably look like a bomb site at times but the finished article is outstanding and worth waiting for. I had a large deck built and this work was carried out by Scott. Quality finish. Just need warm weather now. My project took over 6 weeks. Expensive but you pay for what you get and ours is perfection. You will not be disappointed. Well done to all the landscapers that attended at some point working on my Garden makeover.

We have a very large front and back garden and my husband and I decided to invest in making the front garden low maintenance. We decided to go with Gardens Galore as we had used them previously to do decking in our back garden. On discussing the project with Jamie we came to a decision to turn the front and side into pebbles with some astro turf to finish it off. From the start of our project we were informed as to what work would be carried out from day to day until completion. The two boys who carried out the project were very friendly and professional at all times. and our project was completed to a very high standard. My husband and I are delighted with the final outcome. I would not hesitate to recommend Gardens Galore as I have said previously they are a very professional team and nothing was too much bother to them

Having moved in to a home with a rectangular garden laid to lawn, we knew that we wanted to introduce some formal seating space and mulled whether to put in decking (which we could do ourselves) or to get a contractor in to properly install a patio for us. Finally we decided to go with the patio option and set about getting three quotes from local companies before finally choosing Gardens Galore, based on both a fair quote for the work and glowing feedback from neighbours who had used them previously. Another consideration was the inclusion of a guarantee for the work, giving some peace of mind. Nothing was too much trouble before the work started with prompt responses from Jamie and Kim as needed and work started as planned on a large patio and a smaller 'gin' patio (as my wife likes to call it). Having not hired a company like Gardens Galore before we were, naturally, a little nervous as to what to expect but our nervousness was unfounded as the team who did our work were professional, hard working, friendly and had a good eye for detail. At the end of each day they tidied up before they left which was welcome. The finished product is exactly as we wanted (perhaps more than we had expected!). We're very pleased our new outdoor space (that's the new trendy way of describing the garden, right?) and were grateful for some additional things undertaken for us. It's those things that can make all the difference in a competitive world. The upshot is, we would have no hesitation in using Gardens Galore again and certainly no hesitation in recommending them to others who want the assurance of a good job done, properly, first time by friendly professionals.
