We hired FCH for a complete remodel and addition of our family home in Ross, California. We cannot say enough POSITIVE things about our experience with Curt and his team. First, Curt takes you through his PROCESS, there is no BS, and our build went precisely as he described. He has a team of experts who were consistently doing the little things to make our home better. Everyone had design ideas, and it is a thoughtful and considerate team. Every week we knew what was happening. This team is committed to quality and requires the same from all their workers and their subs. You would have to look long and hard to find a team of more professional, knowledgeable, ethical, talented, considerate, and genuinely good people. The design ideas they created on the fly were perfect for our family and our needs. The quality of materials and workmanship was of the highest quality. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with CF Homes. Our home is absolutely GORGEOUS! Highly Recommended!

We almost went with another contractor because we thought there was no way he was going to be able to get everything done he was telling us and stay within our budget. Frederick Custom Homes did an excellent job building our clubhouse. Curtis and his team are very professional and do quality work. Their attention to detail was evident in the beautiful wood ceilings throughout to the commercial style bar as the centerpiece. I’ve worked with several general contractors before and I can tell you that Curtis has surrounded himself with good people that care about the end result and are respectful of their clients in the process. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family!

My husband and I were walking the dog in the neighborhood and came across Curt's sign on the front lawn of another project he was working on. We approached him there, were impressed with the work he had done at that home, spoke to the homeowners who had very positive things to say about him and then asked him to quote on the remodel we were planning to do. HIs quote was fair and thorough and we contracted with him. It was a 4 month, gut to the studs, move some walls, new kitchen and bathrooms project. He started and finished the job on schedule and we are extremely happy with the final product. Curt is very calm and positive. There was no issue that arose that he did not take care of immediately. He was always available when I needed to talk to him and returned calls and emails the same day. All of his crew, especially Jose, were fantastic. Jose built me several custom items (a banquette, fireplace mantel, laundry platform) and did incredible trim work that looks amazing. Every request I made (i.e. change a grout color, change a room's paint color, change a pendant location) was no problem. HIs trades, especially his tile setter, Victor, and electrician, Benny, were top notch and did really great work. Frederick deserves a 5 Star review. I'm happy to recommend his company and would hire him again without hesitation.

Curt Fredrick and his team did an outstanding job with our home renovation projects, which included three bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, family room, master bedroom and closet. This included electrical, water and gas improvements. Okay, we hate to admit it, but we basically did the whole house over. We did the work in two phases so that we could move in following the first phase and Curt helped us plan this all out. Throughout the six month project Curt was always on time and budget. We love that when he says something will get done, he means it. He responds quickly to our calls and emails. There's never been one ounce of BS from him. He keeps meticulous records of project expenses and is fair about what he charges you for. We really like that we could use his trade discounts at a number of different suppliers he recommended. He provided a ton of counsel and advice, but the decision about pricing and quality of hardware and amenities was always ours. His team has been with him for years and they are all professional, respectful and courteous. Curt also has some unique skills in being able to provide CAD drawings and renderings, as well as a thoughtful approach about design suggestions and options. We found this added value service helpful on things like kitchen cabinets, closets, bathroom design and laundry room. He was always frank and honest about the esthetics, design and look of something. He'll tell you if something will look bad or hurt/help your resell value. Or course the decision is always yours, but having his expert eye was useful to us. Finally, you hear so many horror stories about contractors that we started this whole thing very tentative and even apprehensive. Curt's contract document was fair, simple and easy to understand. He has a great personable demeanor and is so even tempered. He has made this so enjoyable; if you can even call the disruption of a remodel such a thing. We have no reservations about our experience and recommendation of Curt Fredrick and his team.

We hired Curt Frederick to do a kitchen remodeling in our new house. The project initially included removing the wall between the old kitchen and the dining room, adding an island and installing new cabinets and appliances. Later, we asked him to update some of the adjacent areas including the laundry room and the bathroom. Curt is very responsive, professional and easy to work with. He gave us very transparent pricing and worked around our budget. We appreciated his recommendations about kitchen cabinets, appliances, tiles, and countertops. Curt and his team are very detailed oriented and diligent. They are fully invested in quality work and customer satisfaction. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with their work and plan to hire them for future projects in our house. We also highly recommend Frederick Custom Homes to the Houzz community.

This is your go-to contractor! Right from day one, Curt was wonderful to work with. He's an extremely friendly, mild-mannered guy with a true passion for the business and a keen eye for architecture and styling. My wife and I joked that he was like a wizard - pulling magic out of a hat on this one. So, we had just purchased a beach bungalow that needed a master bath and kitchen remodel - badly! When Curt showed up at the house to evaluate what needed to be done we walked through to discuss the kitchen and bath, but I also noticed him kind of looking around at ceilings and walls that were not part of the same general area. I didn't think much of it until he sent me the proposal for work a couple days later. What he sent was professional architectural renderings with final photo shots and elevations of BOTH the proposed work I'd asked for as well as a couple options to change the space to open it up. What he had done was taken my budget and figured out a way to add 6 feet to the master (MUCH needed space), 4 feet to the dining room, and completely open up the kitchen/living space...all within a reasonable budget for us! WAY, WAY, WAY more than we expected or could envision ourselves. He didn't push us in one way or another, which I though was nice and kept the decision stress-free. He just wanted to give us options. We decided to go for it and we are SO happy we did. He now have a huuuuuge master, beautiful living/kitchen space with recessed LEDs throughout the house, quartz counters, new shaker cabinets, new copper plumbing, and even a copper outdoor shower with ceramic, driftwood-looking tile! Best thing about this is that we just had a real estate agent (actually the sellers agent from when we bought) come by yesterday and he said we had EASILY tripled our investment. Thanks, Curt!!! Curt and his crew did an excellent job renovating our master bathroom. Curt went above and beyond, even fixing items that were out of scope. He is very knowledgeable and gave great design advice. He and his crew are also professional and courteous. He exceeded our expectations and we will hire him again for our future projects. Highly recommend!

Curt Frederick's team did a fantastic job on our remodel. The designs he created were right on the mark for what we wanted and the project was completed in a very professional way and was much cleaner each night when they were done than we expected. That was important as we had to use the space while the construction was underway (kitchen and bath). They weren't the least expensive but we were very glad we used them as the experience and results we're better than we hoped for. Highly recommend them.

Frederick Construction provides excellent service and top quality work. We hired him with the huge task of remodeling our entire downstairs of our house (including kitchen, family room, 1/2 bath, dining/living room). He worked with us from the beginning providing many options for the remodel including computer generated images to help visualize the end product. We would definitely hire Frederick Construction for any future work.
