The cost of our jobs varies on the type of space and the scope of work. We will work in one space or an entire home. If we are working on just reupholstering some furniture and adding some accents a space can cost as low as $10,000 (or less depending on how much needs done), or if we are working on renovating an entire home it could cost as high as $150-200,000. We do not specialize in Kitchen or Bath design, but we can assist in picking finishes and finalizing layouts.

Evelyn of Evelyn James Interior was such a joy to work with! From the initial meeting to final delivery, she was there every step of the way. We worked together to talk about usages for various spaces in our home including the dining room, kitchen, family room and sun room. We purchased our home after seeing it without any furniture so we were thrilled when Evelyn came up with unique ideas for how best to utilize the spaces that we were struggling with the most. She listened to our needs and presented creative options that fit our request for colorful yet practical pieces. Evelyn truly made our house feel like a home. We worked with Jim from Evelyn James Interiors to decorate our new home in Shadyside. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. He listened and asked helpful questions, presented interesting ideas, and always made it comfortable for us to discuss options. He was able to translate our random thoughts into a very special look, while still making our house feel like a home. I especially appreciated the enthusiasm he brought to his work, which made it a very fun experience. He has a strong network of contractors and craftspeople who added unique touches to the space. Jim also made it comfortable for us to talk about budget and we never felt pressured to spend more money than we were able to. We had a problem with one piece of furniture, and Jim was extremely quick to respond and to fix the problem. Beyond Jim, everyone at this firm was professional, responsive and thorough. I look forward to working with them again soon.

I hired Ms. Evelyn Wedner from this firm to help design and decorate our brand new apartment. She helped me with the layout of the furniture and to pick new pieces to place in our unit. In addition all the fabrics and pillows were co-ordinated with her. This was no easy task after leaving a home that we lived in for thirty years that was a multilevel home and downsized to a gorgeous two bedroom/two bath unit. She has very unique taste and was respectful of our needs and desires.
