The design and craftsmanship by Matt and the EHL team for our new kitchen and bathroom vanities was exceptional. During the first meeting with Matt where we discussed some of our design preferences he made us feel really comfortable. He really listened to what we said and provided no pressure consultation toward a design that appealed to our tastes while allowing Matt to use his creative and design expertise. The outcome was a gorgeous kitchen that's extremely functional, bathroom vanities that make a statement, and are so well built they're sure to look great and last for decades. It's obvious EHL takes pride in their work because the fit and finish is close to perfection and they stand by their cabinetry. If there's a drawer or door that needs adjustment or some touch-up needed they'll come to your house and take care of it quickly and at no charge. My wife and I tell everyone about EHL and recommend them to others who need any custom cabinetry, built-ins, mantles, etc.

EHL Kitchens exceeded all expectations. Mario was very patient and extremely helpful with suggestions. They accommodated changes, dealt with difficult angles in a kitchen addition, and had the flexibility to make last-minute changes caused by unexpected changes to the addition unrelated to the cabinets. And they got it all done in a compressed period of time to enable us to use the kitchen for Thanksgiving. Most importantly, everything looks fantastic.

I hired EHL Kitchens to build two cherry bookcases for my home. The bookcases are now beautifully installed on my wall. We were so happy with EHL kitchens. From the moment we talked to Matt, we could tell EHL was a company we wanted to work with. From the design work in the studio to the installation, quality, and completion, they were fantastic. We never thought our dream kitchen would fit in to the space we had, but it did, and we are so happy. Our new kitchen is so convenient and has so much more room then our old kitchen. EHL Kitchens did such wonderful job on our kitchen cabinets that other family members have already used them since our project was completed and we have other friends that want to use them in the future. Matt was extremely patient when my husband and I were indecisive and kept changing our minds on certain details. In the end they didn’t hesitate to make the minor touchups that we requested once all the cabinets were installed. We would definitely use them again for any future cabinet projects we might have.

We can't say enough out the professionalism, timeliness, and ease to work with of Mario and EHL kitchens. Our kitchen cabinets are beautiful and everything and more than we expected. Considering the dismantling of our kitchen and the downstairs bathroom due to the floor replacement, the renovation of our kitchen was as uneventful as possible and completed within budget and ahead of time!! I was introduced to EHL Kitchens by my interior designer when we downsized to a condo. The kitchen & master bath needed to be updated. EHL owner, Mario came to our new home to discuss my vision. He understood what I was looking to accomplish and offered great suggestions. Working within the footprint, he and his team designed, custom built and installed all high quality kitchen & master bath cabinets. We made a few changes to the quote and EHL stayed within our budget and they were right on with time frame. EHL also custom built vanities for 2 additional bathrooms. A friend of mine highly recommended EHL and right away we were very impressed with the quality of the cabinets, they are many steps above the cabinets that you see in a big box store. Also I loved that we could completely customize the cabinets - we were not stuck with a limited choice in color and size. Their designer, Matt, was wonderful to work with. He had great suggestions and he really understands how a kitchen should flow and function. Everything came in on time and on budget. We needed just a small project to freshen up the kitchen - new laminate counter tops. EHL Kitchens not only worked within our budget but did an exceptional job! We are very happy with the results. They also helped us fine subcontractors for the tile work and helped us find vendors for the sink and lighting!

EHL Kitchens did a wonderful job working with us to design and produce our new kitchen, mud room, laundry and bathroom cabinets and island. We were thrilled with their attention to detail and willingness to work with us through some back and forth to find just the right island size/shape as well as the perfect color for our cabinets. The company was an absolute delight to deal with. the designer, matt, was able to take our architectural drawings and turn it into a 3 d model that my wife and I could then visualize. we were kept appraised of the status and provided sketches when needed. Meetings were pleasant, and where he felt changes or modifications were needed, he made them in a professional manner and explained his reasoning. they worked seamlessly with our contractor and the stone countertop supplier and installer. with one or two minor glitches that were out of their control, they did an outstanding job. the cabinets were as described, overall excellent, and fit perfectly. all told, we would recommend EHL, and Matt, to anyone looking to install a new kitchen or upgrade an old one, with no reservations what so ever. you may get a cheaper cabinet, but soup to nuts, I doubt it will go as easily.

EHL designed and fabricated an incredible fireplace mantel which was constructed on top of a stone veneer base. They also designed and constructed a flat panel television enclosure over the mantel and an beautiful family room cabinet and shelf unit. Excellent to work with and the craftsmanship is impeccable. They take incredible pride in their work.

EHL team is the best! This is the second project we have used them for (new kitchen & then laundry room) and it won't be the last. Quality craftsmanship, excellent customer service, competitive pricing and work completed on schedule. EHL is terrific. We worked with Matt who understood our needs and worked them into the design that we wanted. The cabinets were delivered on time and the quality is excellent. I made a mistake in what I asked for on one of the drawers and Matt and team corrected MY mistake! Customer oriented, quality design and materials, and on time delivery -- couldn't have asked for more!

We could not be happier with our entire kithen remodel but the cherry cabinets custom built by EHL added an extra warmth and richness too it! I am in the construction business and I tried EHL because of a very positive comment from a friend who used them for a ledge be home and she liked EHL very much. They did a beautiful job on my new office building including a conference room and a full kitchen / plan work room. The work is very good and pricing was very good and the Millwork was installed on schedule each time. Strongly recommend EHL for residential and commercial work.

My fiancé and I worked with Matt at EHL and we had such a great experience! Our project included custom kitchen cabinetry and two custom bath vanities. Matt was very accommodating and worked very well with us. We loved that we were able to sit with him and discuss our ideas. It was very helpful to view our kitchen and bathrooms on a computer simulation and see their samples (hardware, cabinet colors, cabinet styles, etc.), right at their Glastonbury showroom. They also designed our bathroom vanities to fit in our unique bathrooms. One was designed to fit in the corner of our half bath and it came out perfectly. In our full bath, they created vanity with two drawers and one door just as we requested. Our kitchen originally had an ironing board drop down (closet) that we were not going to use. I mentioned this to Matt and he included it in our plans and he created a spice rack cabinet for us. It came out better than we expected. He also created a pantry style cabinet along the side of our refrigerator for more storage space. Our kitchen is not very large, but as we were unpacking we were so surprised by the ample amount of storage space we have and we owe that all to Matt and EHL. Matt then put us in touch with Timeless Stone in Bloomfield who helped us with picking out our granite and sinks. Matt gave them all of our project information which made working with Timeless very easy. My fiancé and I are very happy with our kitchen and bathrooms! We recommend using EHL for all your cabinet needs.

Our kitchen remodel has just been completed by EHL Kitchens of Glastonbury, CT. Over a period of several months we talked with six kitchen remodelers. EHL was the only one that gave us a feeling of confidence that they knew what we wanted and could turn our ideas into reality. All calls, emails or texts were returned immediately, unlike other kitchen companies who sometimes took weeks to respond or never responded at all. Dave Grenier was easy to work with. He gave us a design that fit our needs, and he listened and quickly acted on our suggestions and requests for changes. The cabinets themselves are beautifully made and very sturdy. Scott, the cabinet installer, did a meticulous job on the trim and finish details. He is a true artisan with wood and cabinets. We are highly satisfied with our new kitchen from EHL and would recommend them without reservation.

I knew i didn't want to cut corners and used this company because of the quality. Price may be higher than your other quotes, but the quality is not comparable. if you want a high end kitchen use EHL

We recently completed an extensive kitchen remodel. We had the pleasure of working with Matt at EHL. His design for our kitchen perfectly matched our style. Matt immediately returned phone calls and text messages throughout the entire project. Tim, the installer, was an expert at his craft, perfectly installing custom cabinetry to our 146 year old home. We are thrilled with our kitchen and would not hesitate to hire EHL for any future home improvement projects.

We can not say enough positive things about EHL Kitchens. We had a very dated kitchen and live in an old farm house, so we were skeptical that we would find new cabinets, countertops and a backsplash that would fit with the period of our home and still give us the convenience of a new kitchen. Mario, the owner was fantastic! Mario laid out the kitchen and provided suggestions that not only complimented the home, but gave us the updates we wanted. Our kitchen is beautiful! EHL Kitchens were so easy to work with and we have recommended them to several people, who have also had the same great experience. Their cabinets are quality made. If I had to do it over again, I would hire EHL Kitchens again. Not a single issue with this company.

Highly recommended service and quality. Matt DiTommaso was our kitchen designer who provided excellent service from start to finish. Kitchen came out better than expected and we could not be any happier.

I hired EHL in early 2016 to put paneling and a bench in a small mud room. Now, in early 2017, the job is still not finished and the workmanship is very shoddy. A majority of the molding pieces on the walls are loose, as are some of the 8” horizontal boards. Additionally, the bench top slams shut so hard that someone will be injured, especially a small child or elderly person. Instead of picking up the phone and discussing the issues, Mario, the owner, has hidden behind emails. He has not picked up the phone to rectify the situation and he has never even visited the job site. I would not recommend EHL Kitchens to do a job that is not a kitchen or a small job. They obviously do not stand behind their work.

I would like to start by saying I am a very picky person. I went to three cabinet designers before I was referred by a friend to EHL. Mario just gets it! I described what I was trying to do, which was extremely complex, a large custom kitchen in my Avon home, that included facing a 630 gallon reef aquarium with custom made cabinet fronts and custom made drawer front blanks for over the support frame. The quality is fantastic, the hardware he uses is top notch and the service was phenomenal. He and his staff were excited and proactive to help and the price was very reasonable aswell! Not often in todays marketplace do you find a truly superior company like this! 5 Stars! Pictures to follow as we are still finishing the granite install!

Mario was recommended highly to us, and for good reason. He is the consummate professional. From design ideas through construction, Mario offered creative solutions to some construction challenges, and steered us away from some decisions that were not in our best interest. His crew was terrific to work with, and the quality of EHL's craftsmanship is exceptional. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and bathrooms!

We recently used EHL Kitchens to build a custom bathroom vanity for our master bath remodel. As usual, EHL went above and beyond our expectations starting with our first consultation to the delivery of the vanity. EHL is very customer focused and will work with you to get exactly what you're looking for with your end product. They use nothing but the finest materials and do everything possible to meet the schedule. We've used EHL for past projects as well. They built our custom kitchen cabinets and also built our bookshelves for our family room. The end result of these projects was the same as the vanity......exceptional! Any future projects where we're looking to have custom woodwork done, we will definitely reach out to EHL once again. We would highly recommend EHL to anybody with similar projects in mind.

We had EHL install our new kitchen, we were impressed the whole way through. Mario was great to work with, took our suggestions and designed a beautiful kitchen. Installation was done on schedule without any problems and came out beautiful and you really notice the quality of the cabinets. If we ever need another kitchen I would not hesitate to hire EHL again.

EHL provided the kitchen cabinets and a seating bench, as well as bookshelves/cabinet wall units and fireplace mantle for our 1st floor remodel. Matt DiTommaso, our designer, was very knowledgable and patient in taking us thru the design and planning process. He was respectful of our time and was always prompt and prepared for appointments. Matt was very good about answering calls and emails in a timely fashion. EHL delivered the products within the timeframe promised at the agreed upon price. Matt worked well with Jared Claremont, our contractor, and between the two of them, our project went very smoothly. From initial meeting to final installation, EHL was a pleasure to work with. Mario worked with our floor plan and helped us to create the cabinetry and work space to fit our needs. Within his showroom the build craftsmanship and detail of their work was immediately evident. We were able to put our hands on all color and finish options, hardware, various counter top styles as well as cabinet exterior and interior options. Once we made our initial decisions EHL provided 3D visual modeling which brought the design to life and helped us see areas for improvements. In all Mario, his skilled staff and installer were a pleasure to work with. Any minor issues we had were dealt with immediately, professionally and to our satisfaction. EHL met all deadlines, helped keep us on track, and stuck to all budget estimates and revisions.
