Efes is actually the Turkish word for Ephesus which was the ancient Greek city which is located near the Western coast of Turkey. Archeologists have been digging there for close to 60 years uncovering a city paved in marble, with large marble columns along the main boulevard and a famous library with intricate marble carvings. When we began our business our focus was importing natural stone. We thought this was an incredibly fitting name considering we also import from Turkey.
