White-Edge Garden Construction

Absolutely the worst customer service you can ever imagine from a company. Edgars does not return phone calls, emails or texts. We own a house in Fulham and the previous owners had used White Edge so we though we could use them too. They came once and did a decent job and then when we wanted them to come again and repeat their garden maintenance they refuse to respond! Use them at your peril!

Edgars and his team replaced our Victorian tiled front path. As well as being beautifully finished, the structure beneath it has been very thoroughly prepared and reinforced with steel. The whole thing is a work of art. We can recommend this very professional team unreservedly.

I have used White-Edge for fencing, landscaping, garden brickwork and rendering and assembling stonework seating areas for some years now. Why do I go back? Firstly because they consistently deliver high quality work, always clear away completely leaving the garden in order, work fast and accurately and really know their trade. Secondly because they are good to work with being easy to plan with, flexible if something needs changing, courteous, patient and charge what they quote. But mainly because they are my knights in shining armour! When a large granite table and 4 granite benches were delivered to my house by a driver who refused to even get them onto my drive but left them at the roadside the guys came at the end of a long day laying slabs and manhandled all of it to a safe place in my back garden. When the garden wall fell down they made safe then worked straight through a bank holiday weekend to remove and replace it as there are young children next door. When I had an operation and my daughter's heart was broken because gardeners she got in to 'weed' as a coming home surprise massacred the front garden,not only did they do an excellent job of relandscaping the area but showed great kindness and sensitivity. When I was well enough to go out to the garden again it was to find that the 'few bulbs' they had been asked to rescue if they could totalled over 250 each carefully freed from the earth moved and laid on cardboard. These are good people.

Edgars and his team replaced a line of broken fencing at the side of my garden, removed a shed and its contents, cut back significant overhanging ivy and roses and installed a new fence at the rear of the garden. The end result was a great job, leaving me with a tidy garden and a strong fence that looks solid and reliable. The team was punctual, polite and tidy throughout the day and I appreciated their care checking in with me on important decisions about items to retain or dispose, and on some matters to do with the new fence. I'm really happy with the results and would definitely recommend White-Edge and use them again if I had another job.

A few years ago I used White Edge to lay a new patio and build low retaining walls for flower beds- they did an excellent job and were competitively priced. A few months ago part of my garden wall came down during violent storms - and I asked White Edge to rebuild it. They did a fantastic job and were able to re-use most of the existing bricks, thus saving me considerable expense. Highly recommended!
