We had a wonderful experience with DSIS and our Master Bathroom complete remodel as well as Family room fireplace/media center remodel. It was great to visit the ‘showroom’ with all the material, get our questions answered so promptly, etc. Dean, Nate and Alyssa were wonderful to work with though.

There are not enough positive things to say about Judy and her team. They are not only attentive, responsive, and professional, but an absolute joy to work with. Each team member is exceedingly friendly and accommodating, and the design staff is incredibly talented. Their design center in Niwot is a must-see for anybody looking to redesign/redecorate. Floor-to-ceiling fabric swatches, a wide array of tile and flooring samples, display furniture... everything the homeowner needs to get their next project rolling.

I worked with Judy and team on a recent install and wholly enjoyed the experience. The design was beautiful, the install was seamless, and the team managed the entire process with an impressive level of professionalism and agility. Highly recommend working with them.

What an incredible design team. They are not just great designers, they are also easy to work with, incredibly organized, very creative and make the whole process fun. We loved that they had a full design center for us to browse through for fabrics, finishes, lighting, furniture...all of it. It was a nice change from the typical big box stores and such an inspiring place to design our home. I couldn't recommend this team highly enough.

My husband and I hired Design Studio to design and re-model our kitchen. Our home was built in the 70's, it was small and the previous owners had never updated it. We asked for a design that opened the area up, created more counter space and allowed us to visit while entertaining. They came up with drawings for us to choose from and based on our discussion the style of kitchen and colors we wanted. We are so happy with our kitchen, my husband loves our double oven and we are entertaining again. Next up our bedroom! We will be using Design Studio again.

We paid for interior design services to help furnish our new home and literally got an intern's quality of work on our project. The designer ordered the wrong color couch fabric, but at least they compensated us for their error. We paid 90 percent of the design fee but after completing about 50 percent of the scope of work the intern's position ended and the final items promised in the design phase were never delivered. In response to Judy's comment in April - good customer service would have been to call us directly (not have me call you as I am just seeing this now in June) as we were clearly unhappy with the service when we terminated our contract. My friend's sister/intern told me that we would be working with a specific senior designer when we started the project. According to my emails on the scope of work discussed for the contract there was more than just window treatments remaining.

Niwot Interiors has changed my life and transformed my house to my home!! I'm a busy professional with 2 small children and a new home. Susan of Niwot Interiors bid to repair our basement after a sewer back up. This included replacing drywall 2 feet from floor, taping, texture and paint, retiling the bathroom, replacing carpet, baseboard and shower enclosure, Every step was done professionally, promptly, with care and consideration. Niwot Interiors may be the name, but they are experts on your exterior too! Susan patiently guided us through choosing a color for our home, and she made our front deck a space I will enjoy and be so proud of. She was beyond accommodating and is so talented.

I had the pleasure of working with Annette Gafner from Niwot Interiors. This was the first home remodel project that I enlisted the help of a designer and couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial request via Houzz, I felt like this company communicated well and this feeling continued through the entire project. We had a long list of to-do's and because the kitchen and master bath were the focus, our budget was considered tight by most standards. Not once did Annette flinch at the challenge. In fact, she embraced this project (and my boys) wholeheartedly from the first meeting. We stayed in the house for the duration of the project and that wasn't always easy with 3 and 5 year old boys running around. Annette was more than professional and extremely considerate of my family's time. She brought together a vision I wasn't completely sure I could even explain. It was nothing short of amazing. The true test comes after living with the design choices a few months and it has now been 6 months since the project ended. I still smile every day at something she helped with; from lighting and flooring to counter tops and all the fun decor items in between, I can't say enough about Annette or Niwot Interiors and sincerely recommend them for your next project and personally look forward to our next project with them! For those interested in hearing more about my decision to hire a designer and why I am so happy to have worked with Annette at Niwot Interiors, I offer this summary. First, a designer helps keep a project on time and on budget. It is too easy to get carried away with decisions and prices. Second, the designer can hire and communicate with all the contractors. I am not a confrontational person and don't have time to work out kinks that inevitably occur during a remodel so this was important to me. Third, a designer's resources and connections are invaluable. We are new to Colorado and referrals are always hard to come by. A designer's resources can offer unique decor choices that set your home apart and prioritize your job on a contractor's schedule. Annette finished our project on time, on budget, with no disruptions to our family and our house is now our home and definitely stands out due to her designer's eye and professional contractors.
