Ray Moran installed beautiful outdoor lighting at our home and we couldn't be happier with the results. Ray listens, is patient, professional, creative and to sum it up, a good man.

I have worked with Ray Moran on many projects over the years. I have always found him to be professional, creative, and willing to partner with me and really listen to what I want to achieve. I wouldn't ever consider using anyone else.

We built a new home in Chester County a little over 2 years ago and of all the contractors we have worked with Ray is our favorite. He has been a tremendous resource and help as we needed to build our landscape and lighting. On tope of that every project has been delivered on budget and within agreed timeline. Our projects include: patio with fireplace and pavilion, lawn seeding and custom fertilization plan, landscaping and plants, exterior lighting and on-going property maintenance.

Distinctive Outdoor Spaces is FAR beyond the level of professional that you would expect in a landscaping and exterior lighting company. It is very difficult when deciding to choose a service provider for the first time because of the level of TRUST that must be developed quickly. Especially considering that most landscaping/lighting jobs are expensive and there are a lot of competitors out there trying to sell on lower prices. We developed TRUST in Distinctive Outdoor Spaces quicker than we have for any outside service, and that includes the building company for our home! Regardless, working with Distinctive Outdoor Spaces is continually an educational experience as their team is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of their trade; but it also much more pleasant than what we may have originally expected from a partnership in this space. The guys from Distinctive Outdoor Spaces treats your property as if it were their own...meaning that tools and other less attractive aspects of a work zone are cleaned daily and never left in "working condition." They also treat your property as if it were their own in that they offer the same types of landscaping/lighting options that you would expect an expert in the field to do to their OWN homes if designing themselves. Something about that helped build trust immediately upon meeting Ray and his team, as if they are committed to building a relationship that lasts far beyond the first project. I have worked with this group since their inception and plan to keep our relationship close for many years to come. I am always happy to serve as a direct reference for their work. Amazing work on our landscape lighting system!!! When Ray came out we thought we knew what we wanted. After walking our property and looking through his extensive portfolio we realized his vision for our home was a better fit than our initial incomplete plans. This guy knows his stuff. Also, note that he does lighting work under a separate business called Lighthouse Outdoor Lighting.
