We worked with Lindsay on the amenity area of a new multifamily apartment building in Kitsilano and enjoyed the outcome and experience. She was creative, accountable and we were more than pleased with the look and feel that she achieved. We would definitely work with her again

We engaged Motto Interior Design to assist with the planning of our basement renovation. Upon the suggestion of our general contractor, and after reviewing Motto Interior Design’s portfolio of completed projects on the website, we felt that Lindsay (Mclennan) Steele’s design sense fit with our vision of what we hoped to achieve with our project. Lindsay met with us to discuss our needs and ideas. We found her to be an effective communicator and professional in her approach. She listened carefully to our ideas, assessed our needs accurately, offered constructive and informative suggestions and was considerate of our budget expectations. Measurements were completed and drawings prepared for the various project requirements. These included storage improvement, an updated entryway, and new laundry room, bathroom and office. Further meetings were scheduled to provide suggestions for colour options, and samples were provided to help with choosing flooring, cabinetry, counter materials, tile, hardware and plumbing fixtures. Lindsay liaised with our general contractor and trade representatives to help coordinate the project specifications. At the end of construction, Lindsay assisted with decor suggestions, selected and purchased items to complete the vision and met on-site with installers. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Lindsay and are both thrilled and completely satisfied with the project outcome. We recommend Motto Interior Design and Lindsay Steele to others embarking on an interior design project.

I worked with Lindsay as the architect on the design of her family home. I felt from the outset we had a great design synergy and a similar vision for her very unique building site. She has a very keen eye for spatial design, balance and proportion, and I really appreciated the many uniquely personal touches she introduced to the design. We just completed building a new home in Vancouver and moved in last week. Lindsay was involved with interior design from beginning to end. She was a great listener, responsive, professional and has an amazing design sense. I chose her from her portfolio on Houzz, as I felt it best reflected what I wanted in a 'transitional' look. Over the last few years I've had the privilege of working with Lindsay on several projects now. Motto Interior Design selected and designed the finishings in my new duplex. This included light fixtures, tiles, built in furniture, styling etc. I am really happy with how everything turned out and working with Lindsay was really fun!
