As a full service interior design firm, our goal is to design interiors that are inspiring, refreshing and functional. Even on a budget, we believe beautiful interiors are achievable. Our professionally trained designers work to develop unified and personalized spaces that leave our clients enthralled with our designs. Whether you are building from the ground up, or remodeling a home, we can handle all your needs for interior and exterior design. We have clients in all budget ranges. We particularly enjoy working on executive and luxury home designs. At The Designers, we specialize in commercial and residential design. We provide a number of resources for furnishings and accessories that are not actively available to the average person. These include our connections with high-end furniture, lighting, accessory, drapery and flooring vendors. We collaborate with contractors and architects, and use our contractor connections in the electrical, plumbing and cabinetry professions to provide professional installation assistance. This insures that our clients' design experience is as seamless as possible, leaving them delighted with what our firm has to offer.

Marilyn and her crew have worked with my husband and me several times over the last thirty years. When we first bought our home she helped us do relatively inexpensive things. Years later we did a major remodel with her excellent design. We love our home and are so grateful to The Designers for their guidance. I tell people that Marilyn protected us from ourselves. We would have made big mistakes if she hadn't been there to help. She is a wonderful problem-solver and functions as a general contractor. She works with the very best tradesmen and the excellent workmanship shows We love The Designers!

As a professional custom home builder, Marilyn has worked along side on many of our custom homes for over 30 years. Her professional expertise is invaluable as we strive to give our home buyers the consistent quality our company is known for. As a guiding light from the architectural design to coordination of intricate details of color and texture used in interior applications, Marilyn brings it all together from beginning to end. To us, her expertise in lighting design is the best in the industry.

Marilyn is the "top of the line" in her profession. She not only knows what's current, she also has an expert eye for color choices. I used Marilyn's services between 2014-2016 for the extensive remodel of the interior of my home as well as the exterior and a new deck. I had browsed thousands of magazines and pretty well knew what I wanted to accomplish but Marilyn was aware of the leading styles and added great suggestions and embellishments. She knew the qualified personnel to accomplish our goal. The results were both very satisfactory to me and to her as well as the artisans who saw the final result. I highly recommend the services of Marilyn and The Designers.

As a repeat client, we turned again to The Designers for our down-to-the-concrete condo remodel before moving in. Marilyn brought practical solutions to constraints of the building, creating a highly functional space which utilizes every square inch available. She persuaded us in directions we otherwise would not have gone, while respecting our preferences. Her choice of materials and excellent sense of color, along with an innate ability to discern our tastes, combined to create the comfortable, refined but unpretentious space we desired. We couldn’t be happier with the result, and can recommend Marilyn Hansen as an exceptional talent.

We have worked with Marilyn Hansen and The Designers for almost 12 years. Our relationship began when we started building our home. Marilyn stepped us through the building process. Marilyn caught building and design errors that we had missed. Without her knowledge, experience, and ability to work with a multitude of contractors, our housing project wouldn't have been completed on time or to our satisfaction. We are still in our same house and Marilyn has helped us many times with projects big and small. The latest was a partial kitchen remodel. Marilyn completed designed a new bar for us. We are extremely happy with the redesigned functionality of the room. Marilyn has a great work ethic and she exudes professionalism. The size of the job does not matter to the Designers. You will be treated with the upmost respect and consideration. Most importantly, you'll be a satisfied client when the project is completed.

Marilyn the owner of The Designers in Omaha is absolutely the best client we at Graser Floor Covering could hope to work with ! Her projects are run very smoothly and that is so important when it comes down to tight deadlines, which the trades ultimately deal with daily. We thank her for the ongoing commitment to use us on every carpet installation that she gets and we certainly hope to work along side her for many more years.
