Ruth redecorated my children’s bedrooms and did a wonderful job. She was very easy to work with and I’d highly recommend her services.

We Selected Ruth S. from the interior Decorators Assoc. web site. We saw pictures of work she had done and we felt that her tastes matched ours. We interviewed Ruth, discussed our plans and based upon these meetings we hired her. She brought in the contractors. We created plans and the contractor presented us with an estimate and a schedule. Then we went shopping. We were taken to designer outlets. Ruth was invaluable in helping us select furniture, fabrics, and colors.

Ruth always listens to her clients needs and decorates according to their taste and budget. Her practical use of space and materials creates a beautiful and functional space.

I have renovated more than one home and feel I have a good eye. When renovating a 1920's cottage my cousin Annie said I NEEDED Ruth. Reluctantly I agreed. Make no mistake it was the best decision I made. Ruth's eye for detail, the colors that I get complimented on everyday and her easy going manner made the house not only a place of beauty but a home.

I have used Ruth Seidenberg for a variety of jobs over the years... Decorating individual rooms, picking paint colors, window treatments, purchasing carpets, furniture and bedding. There was no one else I would have comfortably asked to tackle the enormous project of decorating our new beach house! What a great decision! Ruth did everything- paint colors, overseeing construction, picking furniture, accessories, and art. She designed and had built an indoor bar. She even planned and helped purchase everything for our outside deck including a unique outdoor kitchen. She helped find contractors and oversaw all of the work. I have had the opportunity to work with Ruth several times over the past few years. She is fantastic! Since moving into a new home 5 years ago, she helped me to reinvent my space using most of the furniture I already had. She helped me define the look and feel I wanted, held my hand through the ardous task of choosing paint, helped me select which pieces really needed to be replaced and what could be updated with new accessories. She was there to assist with layout, design, vendors, everything from A-Z. She is easy to work with, always available and a treasure!

Ruth helped me finish a room that I was redoing. I already had new carpet and furniture and didn't know where to go from there. Ruth brought it all to life by choosing a new paint color for the walls, designing window treatments and helping me pick out the most amazing accessories. I could never have put it together myself.

Ruth is professional on every level! From the first meeting, she listens to what you like and want. She either brings you samples or she will bring you to trade show rooms. She has a great sense of what will look great in your home. I loved that she was very knowledgable, but never pushed her ideas. It was very collaborative. She respects the customer's vision and offers great ideas and options. Importantly, she also provides accurate estimates and schedules, and she has excellent vendors to execute your vision! I recently completed two projects with Ruth. One project entailed refinishing wood floors in my bedroom, two hallways, and stairs. It also included laying down a wood floor in my den. It all needed to match the existing wood floors in my home. Ruth arranged perfect scheduling and this big project was done very quickly and beautifully. The vendor she worked with on this project was professional, knowledgable and very courteous; very important since they are in your home over a course of time to complete this type of project. The second project was reupholstering a couch, love seat and club chair for the den with the new wood floor. She helped me select the perfect fabrics to match an existing area rug. Her upholsterer did an amazing job...from repadding arms, to making new cushions to the beautiful detailing in the finishing of the pieces. Throughout these projects, Ruth was always readily available by phone or email to provide updates and to answer any questions. As a result of these two projects, I will be rehiring Ruth to have an antique chair reupholstered.
