Working with Debbie was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. We paid a design fee up front that was supposed to include a floor plan layout, assistance with selecting finishes and materials, and project coordination with our GC. Additionally, she said we could get "much cheaper pricing" if we ordered through her vendors and used her "trade discounted pricing." For this, we would pay Debbie an additional 18% "design fee," but she claimed it would still be cheaper overall because of the discount. She assured us that she would help with "every step of the process" regardless if we ordered through her - we were only required to order our cabinets through her vendor. It sounded great. Unfortunately, Debbie lied about her services. She refused to help us with the selection of any finishes at all. Paint colors, wood choices, cabinet hardware, plumbing fixtures, sinks, everything: I chose every single item without any suggestions from her whatsoever. It was exhausting. I'm not a designer, which is why we hired one! As the project continued, I begged her over and over for design help. She responded inconsistently and only provided top-level links to her preferred vendors where I could spend hours picking out my choices alone. She manipulated us into ordering from her preferred vendors, where she would get her "design fee," despite having done zero design work. I caught onto her scam about halfway through the project after I realized that her "discounted" pricing was still much higher than consumer direct pricing, and we'd have to pay her 18% fee on top of that. Example: Debbie's billed cost for an Elkay sink: List price $716.00 x her "vendor" 25% discount = $537 + Debbie's "design fee" (for the sink I selected without any input from her): $537 x 18% = $96.66 Total if we had ordered through her: $633.66 EXACT same sink at Home Depot = $337.47 I caught on when this happened and we attempted to avoid ordering through her any longer, but at that point, the damage was done. At the end of the project, we were presented with a MASSIVE bill for her "design fee" on everything I had picked out. Debbie walked away with THOUSANDS of dollars after doing nothing more than a floor plan layout. She also made costly and obvious errors like incorrect dimensions on her plans and "forgetting" to add outlets to our kitchen islands. Her design was off-balance, didn't provide enough clearance in walkways, and required many on-site modifications by our wonderful GC. I couldn't recommend her less. Furthermore, based on the work she did for us, I would also caution you not to trust the photos in her portfolio. As she refused to help me select a single finish for our project, any finished photos that look good are likely the result of the homeowner having good taste. 0 stars.

Studio Design’s kitchen cabinetry layouts and designs have always turned out incredible. Debbie has an eye for design and it shows in her work. STYLE & FUNCTION! Studio Design LLC and Debbie Davis transformed our home in Cherry Creek! Elegant Crystal kitchens, custom hood, amazing "Wow" island with unique granite, wine racks and a ton of storage. Elegant powder room, with European pedestal sink and unique use of space and tile. While the work above ground was fantastic, the basement layout is where Debbie really shined, converting unusable dark space, into an oasis of comfort and style that is so inviting that our daughter cannot wait to come home from college and show it off to all her sorority sisters! Well do!

We worked with Debbie from the designing phase through construction. Debbie provided several options in the design phase allowing us to ultimately break the project into 3-phases to keep within a budget. The first phase was completed on time and within the budget parameters and like any remodel design had to be tweaked along the way and Debbie provided excellent direction and options that complimented the original design and kept the project on track. Our remodel included a complete main floor great room remodel that include Kitchen, dining room, living room and back entry closet. We are extremely happy with the final product and look forward to working with Debbie on our next project.

Debbie Davis did a fantastic job designing a kitchen and powder room remodel for our home in Centennial. She is able to listen to the clients and help them create their ideal project. We had plans drawn up by another designer several years ago but never liked the feel of them and so didn't do the remodel. Debbie was totally different. She does not come with preconceived ideas of what a kitchen should look like, the style, or the budget, but uses her design skills to suit the style and budget of the client. She helped us combine cabinets of natural and white maple in a way that both my husband and I got our dream kitchen. She also tracked down the elusive green-blue soapstone we wanted and found the one vendor in Denver who imports it. Debbie stays with the job until it is complete. Our contractors were impressed with her and that says a lot. We are so proud of our kitchen and thank Debbie for her design help. Definitely recommend her.

Debbie did an exceptional job in guiding us through a complete remodeling of kitchen, 2 full baths, 1 powder room and a full renovation of our three bedroom apartment. She shared her ideas and design skill with us in such a way that the result expressed our own style, needs, and look. Throughout the entire project, she exhibited a fine eye to the overall design and a great attention to detail. Her relation with our contractor was superb...with us, they discussed the best practical way to get the effect we desired. She was great fun to go shopping with and sharing her expertise as we went. I can not imagine having done our renovation without her. She is great. Hire her.

We began working with Debbie early in our project schedule. She was very helpful in working thru the selection of products, colors, materials, etc. We are very satisfied with the our new master suite/en suite.

We used a contractor for a fireplace remodel and bathroom addition. The contractor sent us to a cabinet maker and that's where we met Debbie. Debbie was super helpful and was able to clearly communicate our needs with the contractor. She has a great eye and her design sense was up to date with current styles. Her creative thinking and ability to get 'out of the box' were just what we needed. Having Debbie on our project made our lives so much easier because she had all the i's and t's dotted and crossed for us!

Debbie was wonderful to work with. She was very knowledgeable, had great connections in a variety of different industries around town(ie, appliances,,tile, soapstone,etc.) She was very patient with myself and my husband as we had quite a few changes that came up. We, unfortunately did not get to do our project (because of family issues ) but would not hesitate to recommend Debbie Davis and Studio Design.

We are repeatedly impressed with the work that Debbie does. All you need to do is take a look at the beautiful photos in Debbie's project list to see what kind of amazing results she can bring for you. It's obvious to us that she goes above and beyond in meeting her clients' goals and expectations. She is respectful of her clients' budgets and delivers amazing results. After a lot of searching for a kitchen designer in the Denver metro area, I found Debbie at Studio Design! She was wonderful from start to finish in the designing of our new kitchen and bathrooms. Debbie was always cool and collected throughout all my panicked stages of our massive remodel. We had a lot of ducted work that needed to be hidden behind and in cabinetry and Debbie accomplished this flawlessly!
