From start to finish, working with Dean has been such a creative, positive experience! Dean is a talented designer and great to work with. Having renderings and changes made, sometimes as we were right there in the meetings was a world of visual help for us. Our house is in the frame stage at the moment and is looking even better than I was expecting. I would highly recommend them!

My husband and I love real estate and have lived in many different homes, but we have never built a home before. Recently, we decided to buy great lot in an old established neighbourhood with the desire to build our dream home. After providing four separate and somewhat conflicting family drawings to Dean, he and his team did their magic and turned this into an incredible design. Honestly - when they revealed the home design to us, it was an emotional experience (not expected), as they were able to bring our dreams into a comprehensive, unique and exciting design. Not only are they great designers, but the work seamlessly with the builder, community association and city to get the details right and avoid rework and delays. They are an amazing team and we can hardly wait to move in. 226 days and 23 hours until possession - but who's counting? One last note - since we started our home, we decided to convert an old church into an office space. Of course we went back to Dean and his design team to help us out. Wow - they rocked it!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Dean Thomas Architectural Design. This was our first time doing a custom home build, which we learned requires the service of an architect – we were “newbies” to this world. We happily met and interviewed other architects within the Calgary region, but when we met Dean we knew it was the right fit.
