Hector and his design firm, Cypress Hue, stand out above the rest of the designers around the area. His keen sense of style and design coupled with his ability to listen to his clients interest and parlay them into a design that meets and even exceeds his client's expectations is what attracted me to work with him. Additionally, he is able to pack a lot of design power into a budget that works for you. In my experience, I needed to hire Hector to help me take my home to the next level. I had a clear idea of what I wanted but needed the experience and design expertise of Hector to get me there. I recently had several beautiful antiques gifted to me by my grandmother (which meant a lot to me) and I wanted to bring them alive, fresh, modern, and into my home style. The transformation of those pieces were incredible - the project required sourcing someone to refinish the pieces and then being reupholstered. I also liked the fact that we made a trip to the Design Center for fabric search/excursion and we both worked collaboratively in the search. Besides that, he assisted me with my formal living room, dining room, and great room in drapery embellishment, custom rug selection, paint and trim selection, fabrics for furniture and accent fabrics for throw pillows, and then finally, working with some of my existing accents and some new accessories, a 're-merchandising' and placement to give my place a completely different look. Hector has a great rapport with highly skilled painters, upholstery work, and refinishing - along with a worldwide connection for sourcing furniture, art, accessories, etc. of all price points. TOP PROS: Ability to take my ideas and source fabrics and designs that met my expectations, time management of project, budget management. I am thrilled with the amazing work by Hector & his assistant Corrine of Cypress Hue. Hector is a true professional in every sense of the word. He has a natural aesthetic eye. What is so amazing about Hector he is a fantastic listener. He listens to your ideas & he goes above & beyond what most interior designers do. Hector has an education in design. Hector started off helping me with our home. However, my husband Plastic Surgery medical practice was in need of an update. Hector had to work with a tight timeline since the practice had a huge event planned. Hector worked with a little over one month timeline to completely redo the entire office. Hector was amazing he completed the entire project on time. What is so superior about Hector amongst many things is that Hector is able to get high-end design without the high-end cost. Hector cares about your money & he will make sure you get the highest quality for the lowest price. I am thrilled with everything Hector did at the office. Now finally we can get back to our home. I look so forward to continue working with Hector & Corrine she is also amazing she is from France she has a ton of interior design experience they are the dynamic duo. Both very polite & gracious. Hector is a wonderful interior designer. He is excellent at anticipating your needs, and delivering a design and space that is exactely unique and personal to you. He has a well-trained crew that will come in and set up the space. Additionally, his vendors that he recommends are high-quality. I without a doubt recommend him!
