Mike had the ultimate challenge on our project. He not only provided the best contractors, and was there almost every day, but he also handled myself (the typical first time house builder/homeowner) with the utmost patience and understanding. He answered endless questions, and knows every single aspect of the process in every detail. You can’t go wrong having Mike on the job! Thanks again Mike!!

Mike is one of the most professional, honest and decent business men I have ever encountered -he does quality work, gets the best sub-contractors to contribute to the whole project —very accommodating and flexible. The only problem with Mike, is that there are not enough folks like him in the business world. He was the general contractor for building our home in Tolland and also did follow-up renovation for our master bathroom.

in 1991 CT Heritage Homes (Mike Stosonis) did a renovation/addition on part of my house. Three years later in 1994, I asked him back to do a second renovation/addition, Some 24 years later (2018), I sought Mike out to come back for a third time. In short, each time I had work done on my house, CT Heritage Homes did the work. I did not seek out, nor would I seek out, anyone else. Mike Stosonis is a professional's professional. Not only does he know his field, he is also respectful, communicative, open, honest, forthright, friendly, caring and attentive to every need. There is never a question to small to ask. He stands by his work. His word is golden. Whatever he says, you can count on with 100% certainty. He is a rare gem of a person. By the mere fact that I had him here three separate times (and considered no one else) speaks volumes. I trust him implicitly because I know that whatever he says is the truth. I recommend CT Heritage Homes to you with the greatest of enthusiasm and without reservation or qualification. You MUST seek Mike Stosonis out and speak with him about your project. He will not disappoint you. I could go on and on about my admiration and respect for him. Connecticut Heritage Homes recently build a detached seven car garage for me. From start to finish it was a pleasant experience. The project was completed on time and all milestones were met according to the schedule Mike provided. The work was meticulous down to every detail. Mike communicated with me with a timeline for the project’s tasks. All allowances were realistic and within the stated amount on the contract which I appreciated. Mike was heaven sent to us. He is very reliable, honest and caring. He helping us design our new home, understanding our needs as we were going into retirement. He followed up on any items that needed following up on as any contractor would have. Mike also uses very good materials and ensures very good craftsmanship. Our home would pass any efficient test and is money saving. We would recommend him to anyone looking to build a house, addition or remodeling that doesn't want to deal with the headaches, hassles or nightmares from your average contractor. Michael Stosonis and his crew were exceptionally knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy, and courteous. They were always on time, worked well together and efficiently, and accommodating to my schedule. The estimate given was right on target with minimal surprises during the project. The 4 season room, done on time, looks fabulous and everyone is impressed with the workmanship and how the room looks like it was always part of the house. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in hiring Mike again for any house project. In short, if rating from 1-10, 10 being the best, he gets an 11.

We hired Mike (Connecticut Heritage Homes) to build our dream home and he delivered! We couldn't have been happier with this experience. He is reasonable, trustworthy and knowledgeable. This was our first time building so we had many questions along the way. He was very patient with us and gave us valuable information. We had minimal problems, but when we did encounter something, he listened to our concerns and found a solution immediately. It is difficult to find someone in this business who has your best interest in mind, but I can honestly say that Mike does! We are so glad that we chose him to build our home. We would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest, professional, dedicated and talented builder.

Mike was the general contractor for my house. He coordinated all of the subs and kept watch over the construction. While we did not always agree about every detail, he listened and explained why my great idea was not so great. He was a gentleman through the process. His knowledge of construction and people made the process work.

Connecticut Heritage Homes remodeled our unfinished basement into an audio-visual/workout/study/play area, including the addition of a 1/2 bath and galley kitchen. We were and continue to be delighted with the results. Mike Stosonis has the highest degree of integrity and professionalism in the business and enjoys an outstanding reputation for quality products. We had enough confidence in Mike to have the work performed entirely while we were at our second home. We have also worked with Mike as a potential partner in an investment deal. We met and started working with Mike 20 years ago. We started with a blueprint and a dream and he made it happen. There were so many things that we did not decide on the print that he found, pointed out and helped us in every step of building our home, changing anything we needed to change, and coming in within 10% of our budget, even with our changes. No surprises, great service and top shelf quality work. His contractors built our house and we continue to use them to this day for home improvements and service work. Mike and his team are nothing short of the best in the business and they are the only ones I will let work on my house for all that we have done. Friendly, personable and very easy to reach and will respond very quickly to your inquiry. We feel very lucky to have worked with Mike for all that we have done building our home and improving over the last 20 years. The Best. Period.

If you are looking for quality, commitment, trustworthiness, and a sense of perfectionism and pride in a builder, Mike Stosonis of Heritage Homes is the one. Several years ago, we decided to remodel our kitchen, which required taking a wall down as well as re-designing another area. We used Mike to manage this complicated project. He was on site consistently overseeing what needed to be done and communicating with us about concerns and with ideas. He lobbied to get the most reasonable costs from the sub-contractors he hired to complete various aspects of the job. Although we hired our own kitchen cabinet makers, Mike worked with them effortlessly and respectfully. Everyone was on the same team making certain we were happy with the results. Truly, this project went smoothly because of him. We were even able to take our scheduled vacation and gave Mike the keys to our house so that he could begin demolition of our original kitchen. When we returned, our home was cleaner than when we had left. There is no one I would trust to build for us than Mike. Through the years, we have also had the opportunity to be in several of the homes that Mike has built. He was not the builder who built our home originally. We wish he were! He is a true craftsman.

Having our house built by Michael Stosonis, of Connecticut Heritage Homes, was a wonderful experience. He worked with us from the time we bought the lot through the design and construction process. He is meticulous, knowledgeable and always accessible. His subs are the best because he has worked with all of them for a long time and does not use anyone who does not meet his very high standards. It took exactly three and a half months from breaking ground to a move in ready house with a CO, that came in within the budget. There was someone working on the house every day and we were updated about the progress almost daily. MIchael always listened to my ideas, implemented them if possible and answered all our questions. He is simply the best and I wish he could build me another house.

We have had the opportunity to have Connecticut Heritage Homes custom build our home. There were several design/architectural ideas we had to incorporate to the original plans -- accommodating our concert grand piano and special fireplace needs in our bedroom and upstairs loft. The craftsmanship is exceptional. Attention to detail is meticulous. Any "unexpected" things that cropped up along the way were addressed professionally and in a timely manner. "Add-ons" we accommodated without hesitation throughout the project. The president of CHH is most easy to work with -- once a quote is given, he sticks to it, regardless of unexpected surprises. I would highly recommend CHH to anyone who would like to build a custom new home -- or renovate their present home. Definitely would work with these folk again.

My wife and I had very specific ideas about what we wanted in a home and Mike, from Connecticut Heritage Homes, turned all of those ideas into a reality. The area where we live is heavily populated with Colonials and we just didn't want the same-old-same-old. Not to mention, we also needed an in-law apartment! What we ended up with is a Craftsman-esque exterior with a farm house interior boasting a very open floor plan that we absolutely love ... and we can't thank Mike enough! He is very down-to-earth, honest (almost to a fault), and knows everything there is to know about the home building business, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike to any of my family or friends.

Three years ago, I decided to move into a retirement community where there were building lots available. Connecticut Heritage was, and still is, the builder at that location. From the very first meeting with Mike Stosonis I knew it would be a positive experience. He listened to my ideas on what I wanted in the house, gave positive feedback on my choices as well as offered opinions on some design improvements I had not considered. We had numerous conversations throughout the building process, and I always found Mike willing to listen, cooperative and professional at all times. The quality of the work is excellent, my home was completed within both my budget and the contracted timeframe. The CEO Mike Stosonis takes care of every detail. Mike and his team met every deadline, stayed on budget and truly exceeded my expectations. MIke has always been a VERY GOOD builder of high-end homes..I know of other subdivisions he has built in Tolland-nicely done. I know people that live in his houses--all liked working with Mike and love their homes. I met most of his crews while I was having my house built--they were respectful, listened, and answered questions that helped me to understand the process better and see how my house was being constructed. I like the design elements of my home--the large windows, the moldings, the layout. Mike helped me a lot with good suggestions...and also told me when I was doing something that wouldn't work out so well. After I was "in", he continued to be responsive to those things that needed tweaking. He's a very calm person and always has a smile. And he's very good at answering questions.

Connecticut Heritage Homes built a home for my on my own lot. Connecticut Heritage Homes involved me in the full process of home construction from the initial design stage, to placing the house on the lot to picking out appliances and fixtures and paint. They have stood by their work and corrected any problems that have occurred even after the one year warranty period.
