Where do I start? After spending time meeting many different Interior Designers. Camille came highly recommended, she was able to take our lake home and transform it beyond what we had expected. From the moment we met Camille, we knew it was going to be a positive experience. She is very thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy. She is exceptional at listening to her customer's needs, outstanding with her color sense, so creative which made working with her a joy. Camille Saum is the gold standard of interior designer. She listened to exactly what I needed and made my house a home. I love my new kitchen- especially the huge island where my whole family spends most of our time as we love to cook and entertain. She is so creative and wonderful to work with, I'm so thankful my friend recommended her.

This was a classic apartment in an Art Deco building, overlooking lush greenery, so we were very concerned to ensure a high quality, interesting, and stylish renovation. Camille fit the bill. Her use of space was practical, selection of materials and fixtures perfect, and sound execution and construction resulted in a high quality and well finished final product. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen/ dining area (flooded with light, good choice of appliances, tiles, and cabinetry), and the stencil work on the bathroom. Thank you, Camille and Charity!

I have seen several of Camille's show houses, but have not yet had the chance for her to design one of my spaces. I have purchased pillows and other accessories from her and they are my favorite accents in my home! She is incredibly creative and bold with her approach, with no limits to what she is capable of. If you want something that is truly YOU, she will make it happen. One of my favorite things that I saw of hers at a show house was a fireplace that was made of all real mood moss - who would have ever thought to do that?! So fearless and magical. My mom also told me about a room that she saw in Baltimore that Camille designed. It was based on the book "Where the Wild Things Are". She used real tree trunks for the bedpost, made custom animal chairs, and had murals painted on the walls. So imaginative and fun! I only hope that I will be able to have her design my house!!!

I've worked with Camille on two separate projects, both benefiting Children's Hospital in Washington, DC. For the 2017 Design House (project image below), Camille designed a comfortable, intimate sitting room in a palatial home. Also in 2017, the Light Up the Season at Four Seasons Georgetown, her Christmas tree combined not only a comics supervillain, but horses, leather, and bright colors. This is Camille unique gift as an interior designer: her color play. She is unafraid to invent and does so with confidence. Working with her as a stained glass maker was easy as she appreciates workmanship and experience and she trusts her vendors with whom she has years-long relationships. Camille's candor in sharing her design viewpoint is refreshing, and there is no question that her vision of what a space could be (and should be) is special and not to be found anywhere else.

She has an energy about her that is contagious and is expressed through her vivacious use of color though she is also keen on creating tranquil, gracious environments. Her spaces are both inspiring and interesting which has contributed to her success as a designer. Working with Camille Saum Interior Design taught me to see things differently and realize the potential for unique personalization in every space.

After looking at the work of numerous designers, I hired Camille for her creativity and vision. She + her team simultaneously managed 9 different projects for me, including complete remodels of the kitchen, guest bath, guest bedroom, and wet bar, plus all of the outside contractors associated with each project. They listened carefully from the beginning, absorbed my personal taste, and proposed multiple options for each project, both cautious choices and other ideas that pushed the envelope a bit - many of which I ultimately selected. Camille is very detail-oriented and is not satisfied until jobs are done exactly as expected. The entire 9-project agenda was completed on time. Throughout, she and her team kept in regular communication with me and maintained a constant enthusiasm for their work. The end result is a home that impresses and that I happily show off to all my guests!
