I can’t tell you how happy we are with the services of By Design Custom Home Concierge. Owners Rob and Karen Matuszewski are true to their word when they say their service will save you time, frustration and money! Having our home built when we couldn’t be there to keep an eye on things was of great concern to us. Even though we had built a home before, we had never done it long distance. What impressed us so much was the fact that they understood our fears, showed us kindness and patience, and always made us feel better whenever we had a question, a concern, or just needed to talk something through. This letter is to tell anyone who is thinking about moving to Austin (or even if you already live in Austin) - and building a truly custom home is your desire – Karen and Rob are highly experienced, trustworthy and loyal. Believe me when they tell you they will watch over your project as if it was being built for them—they mean it. They came through with flying colors for us, and you can be sure they will do the same for you!

We met Karen as she was managing the construction for a beautiful custom home in Vineyard Bay. As the pool contractor for this project, we interacted with Karen on many occasions. We found her to always be professional, available when needed and pleasant to work with. As with all construction projects, issues would arise from time to time. Karen handled these items promptly and efficiently. The homeowners lived out of town, so it was great to have someone local to go to. All of the people on my staff that worked with Karen had a positive experience. We look forward to working with her again in the future.

As Business Development for California Closets, I collaborated with Karen Matuszewski on the Texas Monthly Star Home which was also featured in the Home Builders Association of Austin 2014 Parade of Homes. Karen orchestrated a multitude of details for this home with the builder, Silverton Homes. She keeps current with design trends and this particular home is a testament to that.
