The work that Greg and his team did for me was great. This is the second time Greg has helped me, the first being back when the tornado came through Minneapolis and I needed a new roof and garage. This time I had attempted to have a store replace some really bad vinyl tile laid over linoleum and put down a new floor. The store pulled up the old floor but because the subfloor was "uneven" they would not lay the new floor. My house is over 100 years old and it was mid-summer so I was having difficulty finding someone to fix the subfloor. Greg came out (a long way, too!) and took a look. I had some other odds and ends that I needed done too--a leaking ceiling because of a window frame, a handrail for some outside steps and changing out the way my gas oven was connected--and Greg agreed to help me with those items as well. His team was available right away and they were wonderful! It did not take them long at all to fix my problems. The store where I purchased my new flooring eventually sent someone to lay the flooring but they did not feel the subfloor was even enough. There is only so much you can do with a house that is 100+ years old. I called Greg again and he was more than willing to send his floor guys to my rescue again. Everything turned out to be fabulous. The ceiling no longer leaks, my outside steps are safe, and Greg even referred my gas oven problem to his plumber so that got fixed as well. Most importantly, my new flooring is beautiful! I definitely recommend Building Renewal and will use them again!

Greg and Adam have done a number of projects for us. Most recently was adding a third stall to our garage. We could not be more pleased with the high standard of work and professionalism with which they perform. I would highly recommend them.

Building Renewal, Inc. did many projects to our home in Big Lake. They took out a bathtub,added a new shower and did new tile work in our lower level bathroom. They also did a complete residing d of our entire home and wrapped all areas so I will never have to paint the outside. Lastly, they put a new back wall on my garage to code and redid cabinets and new garage door. They also moved my large shed the proper distance away from home to code which in itself was a huge undertaking. Greg and his crews were great to deal with and each job was completed either on time or early. Greg Powers is the consummate professional in organization and community action and detailed everything his crew would do in writing and guaranteed our price upfront. Building Renewal, Greg, Adam and team were very professional on our project. Greg worked very closely with us and listened to our thoughts and ideas on what we wanted to accomplish. Greg communicated with us every step of the way. The entire team worked to complete this project being very meticulous. We did have a couple of issues following the completion and Greg and Adam were on top of it correcting those issues in a timely fashion. We would highly recommend Building Renewal. I used Building Renewal, Inc. in 2013 & 2017 for some remodeling in my home. Greg and his crew were very professional,informative,did excellent work,and the pricing was very reasonable. His crew never made a mess,cleaned up at the end of the day,and finished the job in a timely manner. I wouldn't trust or use anyone else for any other projects that I might need done. I was very pleased and happy with the final outcome.

We would highly recommend Building Renewal Inc. and head contractor Greg Powers. We first met Greg four years ago when we purchased our home. When it became time to begin the project, 4 years later, we asked Greg back to give us a bid due to his friendliness and professionalism. This was a large kitchen project. The workers were polite, very skilled, on time and very considerate. The job was completed on time and on budget. As with any project unforeseen problems arose and Greg and his team moved quickly to find solutions. We could not be happier with the results. There is no one we would recommend more than Greg and his company. I should also mention that my wife had suffered a severe brain injury and therefore was very sensitive to sound as well as strangers going in and out our home. Greg and his staff were extremely considerate of this fact and always called ahead to tell her who was coming and when and what they would be doing. When the job was done we felt as if we had made new friends

I highly recommend Greg and Building Renewal for any building and repair projects. Building Renewal, Inc. built a detached garage for us last year and we could not be happier with our experience (Detached Garage 2015 - Big Lake, MN). I originally tried to contact three contractors for estimates for our project. One did not return my calls, another did not follow through with an estimate, but Greg with Building Renewal was attentive and completed our project within the timeline promised. He was patient with us, guided us through what our options were and was up-front with related costs. All of his sub-contractors were kind and professional. Greg made it a priority to inform us when his team would not be working on our project (primarily for in-climate weather). I did not expect this from a contractor (most seem to be too busy to call). We've had several positive comments from others in the neighborhood. Thanks Building Renewal!

Back in the year 2012 our bathroom was in desperate need of some work. I had 3 estimates done. The first 2 I didn't get a good feeling about, when Greg stepped into our house I knew he was the person I wanted to have do our bathroom. He was so down to earth, honest, professional all around great person!! We were having a wedding in June of that same year. I liked the fact Greg had so many ideas on what we could do things I never would have thought of. They started the job in May and had the job done in time for the wedding. My husband and I were both working at the time and I felt VERY, VERY safe having them here working during the day while we were at work. Building Renewal have done several jobs for us we have also referred him to other people who have been happy as well with the work they do!! We will NEVER have anyone else do the work as long as Building Renewal are in business. The bathroom turn out better than I could have imagined you want this company for your next anything!!!!
