Elizabeth (Beth) Robertson is an interior decorator based in the charmingly historic Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. Her keen understanding of textiles and design began very close to home. As the fourth generation of the family-owned business, Stout Brothers, Inc., one of the premier decorative fabric wholesale companies in the country, Beth quickly fell in love with fabrics and design. With this professional background, in 2003 Beth opened her own retail and fabric showroom, Designer's Nest, Inc., in Flourtown, Pennsylvania. After experiencing years of tremendous success, Beth sold her space to work with select clients as an independent interior designer as B. Robertson Interiors. Beth's personal taste is traditional and modern, and she enjoys styling according to her client's preferences. Focusing on residential design, Beth works with all budgets and travels to accommodate her Philadelphia-based clientele. Friendly, accessible and very easy to work with, Beth enjoys sharing her love of fabrics and design to create the ideal spaces for her clients.

We worked with B. Robertson Interiors to help finish off a few separate projects in our living room and kitchen areas. Beth's experience and honest feedback allowed us to add the perfect finishing touches to a breakfast nook along with drapes and art for our living room. I would highly recommend B. Robertson if you are in the planning stages or halfway through a project and in need of help like our family.

I used B Robertson Interiors for a whole house renovation and I couldn’t be more pleased. Beth Robertson and Karen Sloan were there for every selection, from roof shingle and exterior paint color, kitchen and bathroom design, millwork, hardware, carpet, paint furniture to arrangement of the books on the coffee table. They have the vision to see the big picture and the attention to detail and follow up to make it happen. A project of this size should have been stressful but they made it fun. They really listened to us and found a way to get us what we asked for. I can’t over emphasize how impressed I am with them both professionally and personally. They have integrity in what they do and stand by their work.

We met and began working with Beth at the beginning stages of our custom home build. She was there through off the decisions we had to make, making sure we took not only functionality but design into consideration. Now we continue to work with her on decorating our home and everything has turned out beautifully. Beth is so easy to work with. She is mindful of budget yet presents an array of fabulous choices. Beth helped me with my beach house in Cape May and everyone was "wowed" when they walked in. There aren't enough adjectives to describe Beth Robertson, but I will try. Beth is, first and foremost, a consummate professional. She is extremely efficient with her time, while providing an excellent level of service. Additionally, she has a fantastic vision mixed with an incredible understanding of colors and fabrics. Most importantly, Beth listens. She takes the time to learn what your style is and designs accordingly. In our home, Beth is in process of re- doing our entire first floor which includes a kitchen/dining room/sunroom /pantry/family room. We couldn't be happier with the results of this project- thanks to Beth!

Beth is very professional with, for me, new and young ideas. She has an eye for lighting, color and furnitutre arrangement. We consulted to ready my very large house to put on the market. She helped choose those items to take with me to the new downsize. She designed two baths, floors, kitchen - just about everything. There was an architect involved, who was certainly not needed except for township approval drawings. Beth is the one who had the ideas. She was always on time and forgot nothing! The project lasted over a year. She is a lovely, easy person to work with and will become your new best friend!
