Glynn Designbuild is a custom architecture and general contracting company in Los Angeles, California offering both design-build and traditional general contracting services and full architectural service. Although our specialty is design-build, we often build for other Owners as acting General Contractor working with an Architect. The company was founded in 2002 by Aaron and Britton Glynn as a way to better control the construction process, insure quality detail in construction, and deliver projects to clients in a more efficient way. Aaron and Britton both hold a Masters degree in Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture and understand firsthand the importance in executing thoughtful design and construction. Aaron is a licensed General Contractor and Britton is a licensed Architect. As defined, the Design-Build method offers the client a single point of responsibility, thereby reducing Client risk and overall cost. We are able to manage your project from conceptual design through construction as your primary contact. We have found that this way of working offers a smooth transition between design and construction, more attention to detail during construction, and a more effective line of communication for the entire team. We are uniquely able to analyze the cost of construction during early design phases, guiding the design process in a more focused way.
