Top shelf level designer. Brian is professional that is very talented in this space. From pool design to landscape audio and lighting he is the guy you want on your team. If you are looking to do a pool but want a unique water feature, grotto, island, bridge or a vanishing edge topped off with a fire-pit, he has it all covered. High quality service in a timely mannor. I would highly recommend to a friend or family.

Brian did an incredible job on our dream pool. I’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve been asked “Who designed your back yard?” He is not only a landscape architect, he’s an artist. Brian was fun and easy to work with. He managed our project from end to end, quickly resolving issues as they cropped up. He did our pool and landscape design with the utmost attention to detail - taking into account the sunlight, shadows, color and shape preferences, and more - consulted with our building architect, recommended materials, connected us with a landscaper, and did the lighting. Is he the cheapest? No. Is he the best? Yes! What was once an empty plot of grass is now our summer oasis.

Several years ago I purchased a home with a steep sloping back yard. I had wanted to build a pool but, despite the fact that I am an Architect, the difficulties of working out the ideal configuration, grading and overall landscape design stoped me in my tracks. I sat for two years endlessly sketching decks, stairways to decks, possible patios, in-ground configurations and numerous convoluted Rube Goldbergs that, collectively, resulted in my total inaction. Enter “The Pool Artist”. Brian was able to take my sketches, thoughts and desired result and both lead me to a solution and engineer the final product to perfection. He is enjoyable, bright, accomodating to a fault, responsive and, above all, an excellent designer who can present his ideas forcefully, but is never too aloof to accept alternative suggestions. Building a pool in today’s world of universal non performance is rather like dragging an Elephant up Mt. Everest…….with your teeth. Believe me, if you think that pool is going to happen in a couple of months, you had best lay in a healthy supply of xanax. Brian was there all the way whenever I needed him, both pushing the Elephant and up front dragging along with me. The product is truly stunning and the result is worth every moment of the pain of construction. I cannot recommend “The Pool Artist” highly enough. Brian truly deserves that title.

Brian was a pleasure to work with on our backyard project! He came up with designs that were perfect for the amount of coverage we were allowed. He helped us and gave advice from start to finish! Not only was that great, but he also installed our landscape lighting and outdoor sound system. Every time we drive through our neighborhood at night, I can’t help to think that I wish everyone would use him for landscape lighting. Our home definitely stands out from using his expertise!

My wife and I hired Brian to help us design out a pool in an awkward sloping backyard. What Brian did was really help us envision our backyard as a completely different space. He was amazing from start to finish. From helping us make smart choices to stay within 'budget' to laying out a design that took advantage of our slope, Brian really took charge of our project and gave us a backyard that we love! I’m currently in the midst of a second large project with Brian . The pool design is outrageous, compliments continue to pour in on a daily basis. All I can say is wow. We partnered with Brian on a large backyard project that involved a covered patio including hot tub and a large fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, a pool house, a complete revamp of our existing pool and deck using bluestone as well as a beautiful landscape design including high-quality outdoor lighting and audio. There is not enough space in this review to say all the good things about working with Brian. He is a terrific person and a great professional. Pools are his passion and it shows. From start to finish his creativity, knowledge and customer service was superb. He started the process in a very organized way to get to know us, our ideas and goals. He listened, but was not afraid to suggest ideas or give his opinion. He knows the pool project inside and out and has a great referral network of suppliers and contractors. We could not be happier with the process and result and could never have done it with out him.

I hired Brian after researching online for a qualified pool architect. He has an impressive resume and his website shows many pictures of his projects, from start to finish. You can see his diversity in creating backyard environments that suit each of his client's tastes. From the first meeting to the completion of the project, Brian was instrumental in transforming my backyard into the oasis my family was looking for. Besides his creativity and skills as an architect, I can also say that he was extremely communicative throughout the whole process. He responded to phone calls and emails immediately, and was very helpful in moving things along with all of the different contractors involved. I would highly recommend him as a professional, he will make your life 1,000 X easier... from creating a plan/vision, coming up with a budget, hiring the right contractors, and to following up with any bumps along the way. He cares about what he does, and is a very meticulous person- which is extremely beneficial for his clients. I would have included more pics of the backyard, but these were the only ones I had on-hand. If you are looking for the right pool architect, Brian won't disappoint.
