Since 1999, Beechwood has been helping clients build their story. From unique, award-winning custom homes to purposeful renovations and additions, each project invariably begins with a client’s story - a growing family’s need for more space, an empty-nester’s desire to downsize practically, an aspiring home-chef eager to entertain in an updated kitchen, a working family desperate for a sensible mudroom and laundry to capture life at the back door. Beechwood partners with the areas’ finest architects, designers, and craftspeople to build the stories that our clients express to us. Brian and team are fantastic to work with. We used them for a major (almost tear-down) remodel and couldn't be happier with the results. A lot of care was spent listening to our needs and creating solutions to address them. Very easy to work with and felt my interests were always top of mind. Frequent and easy communication throughout the project made sure there were no surprises. Overall, Beechwood is trustworthy, are of high integrity, and do quality work.

Brian and Jim have been a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Beechwood! Our project was completed ahead of schedule (in a COVID pandemic), on budget and with precision. We absolutely love the final product. The best part of working with Beechwood is the communication. They proactively communicate each week and think ahead to anticipate any upcoming problems. In my opinion, their integrity sets them apart from the competition.

Meticulous attention to detail and quality finishes. Top construction and materials. Stuck with original plans as much as possible to stay on course for completion, and meet requirements of the HOA and township. Worked closely with us and our independent designer. Responsive to our requests for minor changes and upgrades. Respected our budget, tastes and time constraints.

Working with Beechwood was a breeze! We hired Beechwood to complete a kitchen remodel for our tiny, 1920's OWS home and had such a great experience that we followed it right up with a bathroom remodel. Beechwood was communicative, diligent, and were great problem solvers. They approached the project thoughtfully and were always considerate of the fact that we were living in the home throughout both projects. I would hire them again!

Beechwood Building & Design are thoughtful, honest, professional, knowledgeable builders. Brian's business and organizational skills complement Jim's building skills. Brian is knowledgeable about energy efficiency and current building products and both care deeply about providing great service. They are a strong team and are very responsible about working within budgets and within the schedule. On the custom home we designed, they worked within a tight budget and a tight schedule and delivered the project on time within the costs projected. I highly recommend them.

I’m the owner of the “Master Suite for Berkshire Cape Cod” project, and these guys are the best. From project quote to project close, they just did everything the way it should be done. Our house is an older one, and Brian and Jim were great with dealing with the hidden surprises and solving the issues that a major addition/renovation of an 80-year old home entails. I’d also note that we have two young kids in the house, and all of Beechwood's subs were very respectful of the kids and a pleasure to interact with throughout. I grew up working in carpentry, and I’m a tough critic of both workmanship and customer experience. These guys come with my highest recommendations.

Brian McLaughlin and Beechwood Builders replaced the aging siding on our home, adding insulation under the Hardiplank. We enjoyed working with Brian and all of his subcontractors. Everyone was extremely professional, friendly and hard-working. The project was completed on time and on budget and we couldn't be happier with the result. Many in the neighborhood have commented on the appearance and we're always glad to pass on Brian's contact information. If we come up with a new project, we'll definitely call him again.

Beechwood did a great job for us and we are so happy with our home. It was essentially a teardown/rebuild, so there were lots of unexpected twists and turns that Beechwood handled with ideas, execution and keeping costs in check. Highlights of working with Beechwood: So happy with final product, appearance and function Provided lots of choices to us, not just one solution. Job site clean every night, Safety hazards addressed. Neighbors were watching too. Worked well with our decorator, lake association, township. Well-networked and respected by everyone. Subcontractor teams experienced, informed, polite, An all-around great experience for us.

Brian worked to coordinate with township, utilities and other vendors on our behalf to ensure he could provide the best possible solution. I appreciated their excellent communication throughout the project - a rarity when working with builders!

As an architect, I've worked with Beechwood on two remodeling projects (so far). I have found them to be professional, capable, and concerned about our clients' well-being. Ha commentato: Do you remember the paint color in the family room?The product is a quartz called Shadow Grey, installed with a mitered edge to create the 3" thick reveal. The project was completed in 2016 time frame. Thasks

Ha commentato: What was the square footage of the build?The home is 3, 175 sqft (1,750sqft. on the main floor, remainder in the lower level) with 4 bedrooms and 3-1/2 baths. Spaces included and Entry, Powder Rm., Mudroom, Kitchen, Dining Rm., Living Rm, ...

Ha commentato: Who is the manufacturer of the wall bed unit?HI Janet - Sorry for the delay - the wall bed hardware is made by Create-A-Bed - it is their Queen Vertical Bed product hardware. Beechwood built the frame and built-ins surrounding the bed on-site.

Ha commentato: Measurements?The two story addition on the back was 14' x 23' x 2 stories = 644 sft. The 1 story kitchen addition was 10' x 12' = 120 sft.
